people come on here all the time saying the same thing, yet time after time they get busted as liars. just curious as to what the reason code was ie banned reason 1000?

Won't matter. The recent matches history also appears to have been reset.

people have been able to pull info from boosting websites. the so called unjust banned player posting on those sites for boosters/modded lobbies etc, pretty comical when they get called out.

I suppose you could use go to the support area (click on SUPPORT in the menu at the top of this page), and use the Live Support. It's normally available 11a.m. - 8 p.m. PST in the United States.

I just had a false ban for boosting and am working with, or should I say waiting on Activision to review my case. The story basically goes like this. I played Drop Zone earlier in the day then in the afternoon I download the newest DLC which included Chaos mode. After the download was complete I started to play Chaos to see what it was all about. I played all four of the maps and decided to head back to Drop Zone. This is when I received the notice that I was banned. I thought it had something to do with the DLC so I go to turn off my machine and it gives me a message asking if I want to automatically restart after the download of the DLC is complete. Hence, I played the DLC prior to restarting my PS3. The unit restarts and I still have the ban. This prompted me to get on the support portion of this website and proceed to chat with Richard G about the subject. Richard states that there is some funny looking data on my account and proceeds to escelate it to what he calls the Dev's. I am assuming that Dev's = Developers. He states that there is nothing that he can do immediately and that it could take several days to have the case reviewed. In the mean time my ban of 48 hours is over and I can now play online, stats reset of course. However, I have access to Elite which still shows the stats of the games that I have played in the past, of which, none show stats that would show up if I was indeed boosting. Something is going on here, as Richard stated that they review each banning prior to actually banning people. If they actually reviewed my stats they would find nothing to support banning me for boosting.

So, I just got some feedback after posting the post above. The email reads as follows: "Unfortunately the SEN ID Kochuka was recently suspended for boosting in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Generally after the suspension, the enforcement team will also issue a stat and rank reset as boosting usually increases these numbers. Activision will not be able to restore your lost rank or stats. I apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this may have caused. Sincerely, David Killen - Activision Customer Support.

Pretty rediculous if you ask me. I spend the $60 to purchase the game then another $50 for Elite because I think it is the best first person shooter on the market. I invest a bunch of time to prestige 7 times and they ban me with no review what so ever. Like I said, the review of my stats clearly show that I was not boosting. Then they say that they can't put my stats back to where they were even though Elite shows all of the game data that I have ever played. What kind of review process does Activision even go through prior to banning people. It appears that either there is some kind of major mix up with the programming of the game which would allow banning to falsely happen or there is no actual review of players prior to issuing a ban. Either way, be forwarned that you may invest a bunch of time into playing this game all with the chance that Activision could reset your stats.
