The changes to ghost, is it fitting the logic of stealth

My last thread was more talking about how it affects the stealth playstyle. Well I am more wanting to cover the logic behind doing this to ghost.

 

They say this game is going to cater to EVERYONE'S style of gameplay. My only question is, how logical is making a stealth perk only useable when running and gunning. To me this is rather illogical. Stealth is meant to be slightly slower than the average gameplay. How logical is it to make a stealth perk only activated when running and gunning, It just does not sound logical at all.

 

I know a lot of you hate ghost and despise people who use it. Well I don't and I don't use ghost exclusively, sure I like the perk but I tinker with all the perks. I just don't like the fact that element of stealth is at serious risk as when the UAV comes up you have to move. How does this work with snipers? and how is forcing stealth players to move in order to get a STEALTH perk to activate logical?

 

Simple answer if you look at it from both angles and ignore that hate about ghost, it does not. Stealth is something valuable but I feel they are taking away from a playstyle. When a game is to cater to a play style.

    Your not looking at it from the point of millions of players who got killed by ghost douchers sitting in the corner with a famas silenced and a motion sensor while a UAV is up.

     

    Its not the perk we hate, its the playstyle it promotes that we hate. Now you get your stealth and we get our running and gunning.

    I agree, as a sniper who actually snipes and not a quick scope douche, all this is doing is catering to those noobcakes.

     

    But i managed to snipe on cod4 without the benfit of a suppressor, just have to snipe and move like a real sniper

    The thing that really makes me angry about this is that snipers are getting screwed. Snipers are supposed to be conceled, not running around the map.

     

    There are people that say "oh well a good sniper relocates after each kill." What they don't realize is that even if the sniper does move he has to eventually stop. I snipe to hold down an area, and sometimes I do relocate, but if I relocate and find a good spot to snipe it won't matter that I moved because if I stand still I will show up.

    My play style is to rush. What does this mean? It means that I obviously get killed by assasin/ghost campers when there is a UAV up. Yes this ticks me off sometimes, but making people run around to avoid being seen by a UAV is outrageous.

     

    I get annoyed everytime I think about it. What if you're playing SnD as the last guy alive, and they all in a UAV? Now instead of staying in a smart location and protecting the bomb, you're forced to move around the building and what not. And if anyone says, oh just move around in a corner, then that defeats the purpose of this whole thing.

     

    I thought they weren't going to cater to a certain game style?

    This is easily one of the best changes to come to Call of Duty. Bye Bye campers. Now you'll need some skill to get your kills. Ghost + Lightweight is a dream come true for me! Stealthy I will be as I race around the map to slaughter thee. Threw stealth out the window? HA! This is what stealth is meant to be! Ninjas dont sit in dark corners they sneak around like Assassins!
