i bought call of duty elite premium and it only works on xbox and not ps3 can anyone tell me why ?

I bought call of duty elite premim and it only counts as premium on my xbox and not my ps3 can anyone help?

Because its $50 for Elite Premium on XBox 360 and $50 for Elite Premium on PS3. If you want Elite Premium for both, you'll pay a total of $100.

Think of it as if you bought COD for XBOX, you wouldn't get the PS3 game too.
