Another Double xp weekend ! WHY ?

Why more double xp ? everybody that wants to be 20th is by now...right?

The tweet says double weapon xp coming.I just wish it was sooner rather than later.

I know "be patient " ( not my stong suit ).I'd just like to see them switch off more.not just double xp over and over and over.

Can we get a week of weapon xp like we did with double xp?

Tired to copy link but the forums wont seem to let me do it now ?.anybody know why ?

Why not? Not everybody is 20th prestige. Whats the harm in this?

  I agree with OP. In previous titles Double XP was pretty rare. With MW3 they've turned it on at least once a month. Makes no difference to me but I'd also like to see double weapon xp instead. But there are a lot of players that could use it. I saw plenty of no prestige/low prestige players on today. Doesn't hurt anyone though and shows IW is still somewhat supporting MP.

  not realy there is any harm,it just would be nice for a change ...we only have had a double weapon xp once and double xp what ? 20 times and once for a week..

  It undermines the time and effort put in and therefore detracts from the prestige of being top prestige...
  
  I was 10th for 2 months without any double xp, and I was 15th for seven weeks with not much double xp...
  
  It's plain bullsh!t in my opinion...
  
  They shouldn't even call it 20th prestige now or there should at least be a stat to show how much of a 20ths play time was double xp...
  
  WEAPON XP would be much better because it would promote diversity...

  Yep, Ive only reached 10th prestage and I didnt even know there was 20 prestages untill I went to reset my stats, So I want to get as far as I can befoe BO2

Because IW likes to shaft the people who bought the game early. I bought the game early and got to tenth before the barrage of double experience.

Basically what you have now is: double experience all the time, and double the levels, so if you bought the game right before the barrage of exp and played as much as I did you could easily be twentieth.

    Yatzi! I was thinking teh same thing because I used the double xp from dew as well....it's not hard to level in this game, even without double xp.

  I bought the game when it came out, barely played except for christmas break & this summer. So I'm only 6th prestige, and you want to deny people like me double XP?

It seemed like the first 4-5 months of the games launch there really wasn't any double xp. They also like to attract more players to come back and buy the DLC. That's the only real reason they even have double xp in this game is to promote the DLC and make more money.
I don't mind though I have 3 prestige tokens to use for 4x xp.

They alway have double xp for new map packs, thats how its always been I think. MW3 just has way more map packs.

  I don't need to prestige to 20 to make myself feel good. It's a game.
  
  I don't care about the prestige, it doesn't make a difference in reality.
  
  I play for fun, so I'll use double XP to level up to prestige 5, level 80.

    no . some dxp set a goal of tenth and im nearly there slowly tho a masive 14 days played and 9 and 3/4 , got a good excuse tho loads of tdm and stayed at 1st for a bit.

I don't really get to play as much as I would like and i still have quite a way to go so Double XP is good for me.

What would be good is if they could make a button on our Elite profile like they do for the Clan Double XP. So that you can choose either Double XP or Double Weapon XP then once you have chosen you just get that for the time it runs.

No not everyone is 20th that wanted to be yet. I am at 19-47. This DXP will give me that push to get ot 20th. So i am happy for DXP. this game is getting harder to get there for me. I have fewer and fewer friends playing now, so it is getting harder to put teams together.

They've given out 1 prestige token (which I think I used for Double XP) and done Double Weapon XP only once I think. Definitely should be more often to try and promote using different guns as someone else above mentioned. I remember when prestiges 16-20 came out there was a Double XP weekend (or maybe almost a full week, I forget) and I pushed like crazy to get all the way to 20th before it was over. Then like a week later, more Double XP, then more in a couple weeks...lol.

not entirely true... I'd like to be prestige 20 but I just made it to 11 and quite honestly.. they shouldn't have bumped the prestige in the first place... bad planning on IW part (imagine that) let's bump it from 10 to 15... well... how about from 15 to 20...
So back to wanting to be prestige 20.. I have stuff to do in my life besides sit at home and veg out while on summer break. I can't log in 10 hours a day on this game nor would I if given the time... I'd have thrown the game away long ago if that were the case.

Besides.. they wouldn't keep giving us dbl xp if they wouldn't keep fubaring everything.

  Exactly! It should have stopped at 10. But instead they had to bump it to double and for ZERO reason. There were no extra classes no new emblems, just a exstension to make us that want to go to max prestige, to play it even more. I had plans to go back to black ops and do the last 9 prestiges. But that is all but gone now. between work, life and family i cant devote 10 hours a day to a game.

Double xp weekends = day release from mental institution weekends! People do crazy stuff in order to fully exploit the double xp weekend i.e. running around with a stinger in DZ, sniper fest in DZ, People standing over their TI in kill confirmed, etc etc . . . . it's harder to find a decent lobby

What a spaz. To the 20th prestigers that live in their parents basements that don't have jobs, get a life. Who whines about double xp??? If you don't need it great! If you need it or it gives you incentive to play again over skyrim, even better! Complain about thecrappy dlc garbage we've been receiving instead.

    Whiny-rene. You started this thread by complaining about double xp. What are you talking about? I guess I'm a troll for not agreeing with your pointless rant. Go play battlefield or something. For everyone that has lives and jobs, we welcome the double xp. Obviously not everyone is 20th prestige. I know Obama has turned the economy to crap and most of you 20 prestigers don't have jobs anymore.
