Unfortunately, this game is full of 12 year olds who care too much about a few silly numbers which is there K.D so they get extremely angry when they do bad in a match and send hate mail. I agree there is no need and never in my 2 and a half years of playing CoD recieved a good game message. Now that is bad...

Anonymity creates bravado. People hide behind their GT to act tough.

The worst is when it gets mean spirited. Sometimes it can be just good fun, but would like to see sportsmanship return in some degree.

Lets face facts.  There's no age limit when it comes to hating on the internet.  I actually think most of the people who talk crap are the 20's to 30's.  Especially when a squeaker comes in the lobby, everyone jumps on them. 

And that's the power of anonymity. It won't change until people are held accountable.

id like to see people talk trash less, i have talked trash, but i never start it, i have though changed my approach, i kind of just agree with whatever they say and continue playing

people accuse me of cheating/hacking/modding/ camping.. whatever, it doesnt matter what I say, its not like they are going to be like " ohhh okay, yeah he isnt hacking" so why talk to um.. haters hate, thats what they do, i just try to figure out a way to get 2 more before the day is over

Lately it seems more like the adults doing the rage talking than the kids. And like SheSaidNo said ... when a squeaker comes in, for some reason the adults in the lobby tend to immediately start mocking them - even when the kid is being respectful.

That's really pathetic.

You got a self-mute button, folks. I call out, "BS!" plenty enough myself. But I turn the mic off so people don't have to listen to it. If I need to communicate, I just turn it back on.

Also, 90% of the time there's someone trash talking, it is one of the worst players in the lobby. What's up with that?
