I remember the days of cheap electric weapons that broke way too many times, I remember playing airsoft one time and my cousin's shotgun barrel fell out of the gun whilst I was running.  Apparently airsoft is really big in Europe because one channel is completely dedicated to huge airsoft wars and has lots of views.  I saw one guy with a CO2 Mac-11 that had CO2 gas come out of the barrel it was pretty cool. 

Well Kam, airsoft features projectile weapons that are operated by springs, gas(CO2 and some others), and some electric weapons that fire plastic pellets, often they are substituted for real weapons for target practice in countries that outright ban firearms or have strict regulations.  They also have a very large price range from $2 to over $400.  They also have varying feet per second(fps), the higher the fps, the more powerful it is.  In the United States, most airsoft weapons are required to have the muzzle painted orange so that it will not be mistaken for a real firearm.  Often groups of people get together to fight in "wars" as featured in my previous post, people of various ages from young to old own them and participate in these so called "wars."  Some of these weapons act like real weapons in the sense that the slide on the pistols which is the top part of the pistol that moves back when the weapon is fired.  These weapons also come with attachments that look like, and sometimes act like their real world counterparts(a suppressor on an airsoft weapon does not suppres any noise).  You can find an officially liscensed HK G36c at walmart for crying out loud:
