The UMP was exactly one of the weakest SMGs. It is (or was) the only primary weapon other the PP90 to get SIX hit kills at max range. On top of that, it had the lowest RoF. Its only benefit was its range, both that was only slightly better then the P90s, MP5s and PP90s.

The UMP was deceptive. Many people thought it was high damage like the MW2 one, but it was not. It needed its buff, the slowest firing SMG doesn't deserve six hit kills.

I did testing and still didn't see any changes. Placebo is in full effect.

many of the weapons i cannot speak for, but last night I played with the UMP45, the FAD, and the AK47.  the UMP45 seemed to be killing much faster.  The FAD is quite a bit stronger.  I was killing faster and at more range whilst using less bullets.  I liked it quite a bit.  just have to remember to pulse fire so i don't run out of bullets so fast. 

I am looking forward to trying out the M16 when i get out of work this afternoon.  I like the type95 but feel like a douche sometimes for using it (though i shouldn't).  maybe with the new buffs people will stop crying about the "OP" weapons.
