I have the exact same sound issue I had with the original prototype, when I have my 5.1 Dolby Digital Live enabled I get odd crackling with no actual sound being played.  I have to switch it to 2 channel 44khz for it to work.  Anyone have any tips?  I already updated drivers for my sound card...
