Black Ops 2 Promo-Code for Nuketown

I peordered BO2 online. I got the email with my promo code. So, I went on the website and entered it. I'm I good to go? Do I need to enter the promo code for every add on that comes out like I did for Nuketown? I'm confused, can someone explain to me better?
