When ever i try getting on MW3 it tells me the servers are down and to try again. like what it did last month around the 13th or so. But i restored my wii hoping maybe it was just my wii and stuff (idk what i was thinking) and lost my black ops data and my MW3 data :/ Its been like this for at least a week now.

I had issues over a month ago that basically did not allow me to play multiplayer sounding very similar to your problem. I deleted all MW3 data from the Wii hard drive, unplugged both ethernet and power cords, reset router.etc. etc.. I tried everything including calling activision about issue and they were stumped. It happened again to me last night but after 10 minutes it logged me on. The activision support team does not know what is going on as to why, just out of the blue, I am not able to log on to play multiplayer. The next time it happens Activision wants me to call them when it's doing it so they can try to go into my connection to figure it out. Never had any times when I was not able to log on until a little over a month ago. Sorry can't give you a solution, just try doing a few things that were suggested to me. Excluding the deleting of data unless you were recently hacked. That's all I got.
Mw3 servers are the worst of all cod titles. I can never just log on to the game and never have, it always takes 2 - 3 attempts to get online. I have no issues with any other wii game.
Yep same here! What you need to do regarding the failed attempts Pauly, is once you open the multiplayer page, the version will be 130 or something similair I cant recall, , and you NEED to wait for the version to change to the current one of 130.15.6 . Then try to connect. It can take me upwards of 5 mins to get the version on my screen, then and only then you can connect. That just shows your wii has acknowledged the server and is about to connect online.
I normally turn it on and go to the loo, or grab a beer or something, saves on the frustration.
Your UK like me and I found something out today that I didnt know before, which may be the reason why us europeans suffer huge lag issues when playing in the evening. Apparently the servers change from east to west coast, or vice versa, in america at 3am US time, and we clearly suffer on whatever the latter server is. They do 12hrs a day each. Theres lag issues with this problem even in america, guys get huge lag comp issues when the servers change.
The issue I have is that even after the version number goes through it still does not want to log in. 1st I see the, "You have an ally request " box appear then the version number changes to the current version then it tries to log me on and sometimes it will just keep trying to log me in even though it acknowledged my Wii. Strange huh? I'm in Indiana in the US. I have cable internet with the Wii hardwired as well as having a Wi-fi connection as backup. When I have this problem none of the three connections I have will work. I can put any other online game in and it will log in just fine. That's why I have Activision stumped. In my other post I stated the disk is clean and I have had the game since it came out but have just recently run into this problem. Very strange indeed. Hmmmm?..
Yeah I feel you man. There`s something wrong with these servers 4 real! I get the allies thing, or you have texts, and cant log in for a little while. People obviously see me online as I get invites, and yet on my screen im still offline
Now thats laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag 4u
that doesn't work for me it still says
Unable to connect to the call of
duty:MW3 servers. Please try
again later.
but at the top right of the screen it says that you have new ally requests and then is show me the cant connect message
What The Hell!!!!
