Elite 2.0 release date?

When is elite 2.0 released? or when is it up for elite to be upgraded?

    Elite 2.0 will be released the night Black Ops 2 is. On the other hand Elite for MW3 will not be upgradable for Black Ops 2. You have to buy Elite for Black ops 2. (There is two different Elites.)

        Umm, no there won't be two ELITES; the sections for Black Ops 2 will simply be upgraded to "2.0", with MW3 sections staying as they are.

         

        You can tell this is what will happen because they have TABS for Black Ops 1, next to MW3 on the menu, Black Ops 2 will simply be added to those tabs, which you will click, then choose your section for Black Ops 2.

         

        People are still buying ELITE just now, if those subscriptions weren't transferable there would be an uproar, and ATVI would HAVE to say that you wouldn't get access to Black Ops 2 features, otheriwse it would be misselling.

    Kind of how Elite for MW3 really doesn't do anything for Blops, Elite 2.0 won't do anything for MW3.

     

    What I don't understand is why anyone would really care, you aren't actually considering buying that junk again are you?  Just stick with the free version and don't give these people anymore of your $$, it just sends the wrong signal.

      The only way i will buy it again is if DLC is again included, I'm Xbox and always buy DLC anyway, so i will still be saving money by getting ELITE.

      DLC - There was 28 pieces of DLC for MW3

      Collection 1 - 4 MP maps, + 2 Spec Ops

      Collection 2 - 3 MP maps, + 2 Spec Ops + 2 Face Off maps

      Collection 3 - 4 spec ops missions + 3 face off maps + chaos mode

      Collection 4 - 5 MP maps

      + 3 free maps

       

      cost for all collections was 45.00 dollars

      cost for elite 50.00 dollars

       

      if you want to look at it the other way,  you actually dont save money, it costs you 5 more dollars to get elite vs buying all dlc seperately

       

      i dont do spec ops, and i dont do zombies, so those dlc content isnt for me, but meh, it is what it is...  i like elite, so i will buy it again..  some wont.. 

       

      you can get elite 2.0 where ever Black Ops 2 is sold..   but there is no info on what is included, if DLC is not included i dont think its a buy for me, if it is included again, its a no brainer..

    All i know is that elite 2.0 will be avalible on the day black ops 2 comes out.                                                                                                                                                                                                           I also have a question where can u get elite 2.0 playstation store or gamestop or bestbuy

      As at right now they stop selling COD Elite. Even if you buy right now for the Mw3 Season it wouldnt work for the Black Ops II Season.

    Information about Elite and how it integrates with Black Ops 2 for DLC and Clans HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED YET.

     

    I expect information about Elite very soon. Keep your eyes open for it.
