PS3 Wireless Headset - turn off the mic?

For those of you who have the PS3 wireless headset, can you easily turn off the microphone? Late at night I don't need the ability to chat and don't want to be that person you just hear breathing every match. lol

Yeah, just press the side were you turn it on. And it will mute the mic. Or just slide the little slider to the top on the left side of the headset.
