What is your style of play? Keep it mature, thanks.

Mine is very simple, I am the mobile camper (hold a flag for an alloted amount I time depending on how popular that flag is to the enemy, when less popular I move to check the other flag and defend it for alloted amount of time, constantly moving from spot to spot and listening, re-caping the flag if needed and defending like a good team player). I prefer Dom because you can pretty much pinpoint where everybody will be on the map and you can set up your on back and forth defensive trails to each flag, I prefer not to triple cap because it messes up spawns (opinion from experience). Depending on the map I play on I have a variety of class setups, not the same lame setup every time. Judge all you like, but it works and it's not siting in a dark corner the entire game (which is what a true camper is) and not even bothering to cap or re-cap a flag. I believe a lot people have a misconception on what camping really is. We could argue that in real life camping is used every day in combat and so is mobile camping, but that would just run everybodies breaths out and how silly we would look in the process. I don't FMG9 spam, flash spam, noobtube, or RPG. I don't even heartbeat sensor, but I do always carry my portable, leave it at one of our capped flags to keep an eye on it for the more obvious invaders. I pace myself, I prefer not to rush blindly in to the frey, I listen to complaints of my team and shout outs (be they immature and such). And most of all, I love my C4, because grenades in this game are almost useless when the enemy decides to mob one flag, hitmarkers everywhere or use something that gets the job done. I really love Specialist, use it most of the time, and I feel more useful with it.
For me, it really depends on how the enemy team is approaching.
If they are rushing, I'll hold back and hold down a certain area but stay on the move.
If they are "Camping", I'll rush and play tactically.
Majority of the time is rushing/tactical/holding down a high action area.
Camp and move according to gametype and never blindly rush.
Great choice. Mobile camper.
Team approach is a good thing to observe, constantly changes your playstyle.
It depends if i'm just getting out classed in the run and gun department i'll (and i'm gonna shamelessly steal your phrase as I like it lol) do the mobile camp thing drop a porti closer to me than I normally would set up base in an area long enough to gather some kills, sweep up the tags and turn that area into the new temporary killzone then leg it to another area and keep repeating.
However I enjoy the flanking run and gun approach best I just drop the radar on a choke/approach or high traffic point whichever best suits the map run off on a drunken stagger and see what happens 90% of the time all goes well the other 10% you end up looking stupid.
Camping in a corner i've never done as I only play KC and it doesn't really serve a purpose in that mode.
They lose interest after a while when you do that, so you can then move to other points that are being overwhelmed or need help, then backtrack. I do like to flank, I get staying close to the enemy accolade a lot too. Hiding in a corner the whole damn game is whimpy, just shows you can't really play well.
To true although there is another more death laden way to play which I indulge in occasionally and thats the one where you look for the person who is doing the worst on your team and stick to just infront of them.
Your deaths go way up but it's a change to get a thanks mesage because they score higher and chuck up a quite a few more kills and most seem to pay it back the next round making it easier to nab a win.
Also chase the team predator/reaper is good i've learnt some handy routes by trying to get to each missile impact zone before the tag is gone.
Interesting tips!
I am run & gun 100% of the time. Sometimes it nets me great multi's, sometimes I spend a good deal of the time chasing spawns but it is the playstyle I prefer. I just can't seem to sit still for too long, it gets me anxious when my teammates are out there killing and I am not.
Hahaha, I understand that too. I have wild hair sometimes and equip my shotty class and go ape **** crazy trying to kill as many as possible, not my style, but I feel the urge, and sometimes I do very well and it is glorious!
My normal playstyle is to try to leapfrog down streets and in buildings with a buddy and an smg. Lately me and a buddy have been trying the quick scoping thing for something fun and new to try if anyone could give us some pointers it would be greatly appreciated and even more appreciated if you could check out onenurboom on youtube and tell us what you think about quick scoping and anything more we could do to maximize our game without boosting or any of that junk. Thank you.
Quickscoping is not my thing, but I do try it for fun, depends on the sniper rifle really, the sway and recoil. I get lots of hitmarkers. My sniper right not is the Barrett .50 Cal, the scope isn't in my way and I like how fast the trigger is for those pesky close encounters. I fear I will be now help to you on pointers though since I'm not even close to quality quickscoping, lol. Good luck to you and your friend. Buddy system is good in small doses, I don't particulary care for the "holding hands" system, unless you are playing Kill Comfirmed, but as always, to each his/her own.
I rush for the objective. If it's tdm I go around rushing for the kill. If it's dom I rush for the flags. Usually my team holds 2 flags and spawn traps the enemy. For kc, I will rush and get any tags I see for the win whether it's a deny or confirm.
I see spawn trapping in different ways everyday, one day it's essential to win, the next it is unfair and boring.
Not if you're winning. ![]()
I know right! I feel filthy!
But they should seriously fix the spawns, MW2 was so much better about spawns than all these new CoDs.
Depends on the map, game mode, clan op or not and generally how well im playing at the time. My preferred tactic is to do controlled rushes (by this i mean taking it to the enemy team but not just charging, pick myshots, targets etc,) I do like to snipe, mainly mobile unless i find a spot that seems to be the enemy teams route to wherever. Very rarely camp, dont find it enjoyable at all, but thats just me. I tend to use perks such as recon, dead silence etc so being relatively close to the enemy does benefit me.
Clan op days make playing very different for me, people are way more aggressive than they need to be, they rush recklessly and shoot off their mouth to much and in the end they aren't able to back those words. It's a real pain in the ass if you don't have most of your clan members with you, the holding hands is very much happening. I've camped for real back in the MW2 days, it gets really boring, then I evolved into the mobile camper, which in the end made me better and more useful as a team mate. You live and learn what works and what doesn't.
Mobile camper here lol I love that term I play Dom and have good experience so I know we're people like to go and were people chill so I settup my tent then camp/defend I don't camp somewhere stupid I camp usually by b flag or on a flanking posistion for b flag.
Then after a few kills or they start swarming me I move.
This is how I play when we are winning.
If my team is losing I turn into a rusher capping flags like mad and dying a lot on b flag lol
Lol, I know right, especially if you have a craptastic team you really have to bust ass for those flags or die a lot. Sometimes to no good, your team is just to whimpy, you find yourself alone taking A flag or something then BAM, you're done. Lots of pathetic players, I see a lot of them just run by the enemy flag you alone are trying to take so he/she can go killwhore and not play the objective, irritates me till I rage quit. Especially Seatowns B flag *shivers*, evil flag.
I don't camp but I don't go guns blazing. I use cover all of the time. Sometimes if I come into a high traffic area I might sit behind cover for a few seconds and wait for people but I never stay. If no one comes after a few seconds, I move on. I try to utilize the entire map with this strategy but it depends on the map though. Sometimes I patrol if it is a smaller map (like dome or hardhat) because the spawns are usually out of control. I
I usually rush more on small maps, because it forces it more and it's easier for me to do so on smaller maps. I really love Mission and Dome. Hardhat has some issues with the tunnel camp area, it seems that once the enemy team caps A and B it is nearly impossible to get any of those back.
I use to rush on the smaller maps but I just found myself getting shot in the back all of the time because of the spawns (especially in dome). I don't play domination because I run solo most of the time. I usually break out the portable radar on dome so I can watch my back better but unfortunately I haven't unlocked it yet lol. I should when I prestige. It sucks you don't get it until Level 77.
The porti was my second unlock, I had to learn the hard way to understand that thing was a lifesaver. Gotta watch your back, those sneaky spawns.
