alright i was playing last night my screen went black, and all i heard is gunfire so shut the wii down, reset it and when i took the disk out there were scratches down it that werent there before. so i tried wiping it off with a damp soft cloth. put it in got online then the wii started buzzing and it said disk could not be read. what happened? i know its broke but i would just love to know what happened.

It's clearly straight up broken, but DO NOT go and waste your money on getting it repaired or buying replacement parts for it. Get homebrew and get usb loader. It's free and it will solve your problem. Ive seen too many people waste their money on some repair that doesnt work.
I guess his disc thought he was un-worthy to be owned by such a famous person, so it killed itself so that you don't have to mingle with the commoners.
