Shangri-La - The Secret Explained.

Posted by Orgtar on Jul 15, 2012 1:55 PM

I have finally uncovered the secret of Shangri-La, and here it is.

Shangri-La is a fictional place described in the 1933 novel Lost Horizon by British author James Hilton describes Shangri-La as a mystical, harmonious valley, gently guided from a lamasery, enclosed in the western end of the Kunlun Mountains. Shangri-La has become synonymous with any earthly paradise but particularly a mythical Himalayan utopia — a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. In the novel Lost Horizon, the people who live at Shangri-La are almost immortal, living years beyond the normal lifespan and only very slowly aging in appearance. The word also evokes the imagery of exoticism of The Orient. In the ancient Tibetan scriptures, existence of seven such places is mentioned as Nghe-Beyul Khimpalung.Khembalung is one of several beyuls ("hidden lands" similar to Shangri-La) believed to have been created by Padmasambhava in the 8th century as idyllic, sacred places of refuge for Buddhists during times of strife (Reinhard 1978).

Notice how it is enclosed in the western end of Kunlun Mountains, now lets look at the actual Kunlun Mountains as the secret lies in them mountains as they are the mountains of Shangri-La!

The Kunlun Mountains are one of the longest mountain chains in Asia, extending more than 3,000 km. In the broadest sense, it forms the northern edge of the Tibetan Plateau south of the Tarim Basin and the Gansu Corridor and continues east south of the Wei River to end at the North China Plain.

So now, you must be wondering. So, what is the actual secret? and I will furthurly be explaining.

Shangri-La is a mystical place located in a different universe from us, but being an almost duplicate. Shangri-La is located near the Kunlin Mountains in this fictional universe.

The secret is that, the whole zombie story so far has just been one long nightmare (as said in Call of the Dead) none of the zombie maps were real. Nothing ever happened. You must continue to fight the Nazi Zombies in Black Ops 2.

Anyone trying to explain the goddamn storyline that isn't Jimmy Zielinski is fighting the tide. Can we all just accept that, as the zombies guys have already explained, the maps came first and the storyline came second. If you're still trying to unveil the storyline mystery - there isn't anything to unveil. The storyline was created to fit in with the setting and characters, not the other way round.

Hopefully they have a brand new plot in Black Ops 2 because the plot after World at War become too convoluted, too far-fetched and too higgledy piggledy for a continuation.

They have come out to say this a thousand times!!  The maps were created BEFORE a storyline was created.  There are no secrets because they are coming up with things as they go, it's called improvising!!!

So basically when you play black ops 2 zombie campain mode the whole thing will be a nightmare and at the end you wake up from sleep with specific character you are or when you do the easter eggs in black ops 2 you will uncover the secrets and that you will surely figure out that it was all a nightmare.

Maps are based around the storyline starting from Der Reise. There are no lost endings in zombies. Also you have not found out what Shangri La mountains mean. If Kunlun mountains are it they still have some meaning that needs to be found.
