What's more important to you: K/D ratio or Win%?

The highest my K/D has been so far is 1.00 which isn't the greatest. I play alot of Demolition(favorite game type) and I actually play the objective unlike a lot of people, so I have a lot of deaths. Personally some people are obsessed with their K/D, however to me its more satisfying to have a average to somewhat under average K/D and come out with the win , rather then have a high K/D and lose.
I'm a clan leader with no K/D requirements to join , a few of my members have a +1 K/D with the majority is 1.00 and under. We tend to win a lot of game based off teamwork and communication, even though we don't have the best K/Ds. I've played with people that have high K/D but terrible teammates, I don't care how good you care if you're not a team player I don't want you in my clan.
I've had games were I had a great K/D which is awesome, but wasn't happy if I lost. What's interesting to me is you have these people that have high K/Ds, lose a lot and still brag. The main excuse is the reg of their team sucked, while this is true sometimes my thought is if you're so godly great why didn't you carry your team to the win and pull them out of a hole?
So to me I'm all about getting the Win in the end, what matters to you more K/D ratio or Win %?
I go for both, but the win always trumps K/D.
Neither really.
I didn't really care about prestiging either really I'm 12th now but stop for a while on different ones.
If your good your good lol you don't always need stats to be good as there's lots of different ways to be good.
I could say within my next 3 games I'll drop an osprey but I play Dom properly so I would have to camp a bit.
Some would think dropping the osprey and having a good kd for the game is good but it's not if you lose.
I don't put a lot into either number but I'd always take the win over a high K/D. If I go 100-1 and lose, it really doesn't matter because I lost. Not only that, but I predominantly play solo and when you do that, you're W/L isn't going to be too telling. I've got around a 2.8 W/L right now and I don't know how many times I lose games where my entire team goes double negative.
Both. The only thing about win percentage is that your team can let you down so fast. A trash team will hurt your kd, but it will hurt your WL way more.
I think your kd will show a better player more effectively than your WL.
The one thing I do know is that your prestige doesn't mean much. Obviously a high prestige person will have more experience than a level 5, but a 13 prestige won't mean they are better then an 80 no prestige.
I have a guy in my clan that has a k/d around 0.65, but he's my favorite person in the clan to play with. He's a great teammate and his k/d is very misleading, I've one alot of games with him.
One night we played as a party of 6 and had a win streak of 24 games. I think that's pretty good, we didn't have great k/ds, but we won all those games because everybody was a team player. Some of us even went negative a few times during those games, but we're still happy because we got the wins.
I agree, I've played vs people with a prestige higher than my current(12th) and even higher clan level(mines 30) and they were terrible. Your prestige doesn't necessarily mean you're better, but maybe you've jut been playing longer.
Fun ratio for me. I appreciacte both w/l and k/d, but neither really mean much in my opinion.
i honestly dont care at all about winning. i mean its cool to have a good kd game and win, but really if i lose with a good kd im just as happy. my win loss is terrible, and sadly my kd isnt good either. i prefer to play with very good kd players as we can really just dominate the enemy more than playing with objective-based players.
I really miss how prominent score per minute was in the leaderboards. K/D I think is the easiest number between W/L, K/D, and SPM to skew. I don't know how many people I've played that have these 'monster' K/D's but literally go like 7-1 every match.
