Two topics in one, people. First topic:

I've been experimenting with the L118A recently, and it has got to be one of the weirdest sniper rifles I've used. It seems to me that the closer you are to your target, the lower the gun's damage. Example: I had flashbanged this guy and managed to sneak behind him. I aim through my scope, with the crosshairs clearly over him - and get a hitmarker. Later, I'm aiming at another guy that's across the map, and boom - one shot kill.

Second topic:

Has anyone else been getting that screen demanding you to link your in-game account with your forum account for Elite when you log in? It's kind of annoying since Elite doesn't apply to us.
