Yes it will. Elite 2.0 is an upgrade to the Elite Application, not a new Application. So you won't have to remake your clan which would also mean that you won't have to start over.

Hmmmmm....... Seems iffy as iw and treyarch never seem to mix aspects of there services. i would not think it would carry over as i would think 3arc would do there own version of clan ops.

Except IW and Treyarch have nothing to do with the making of Elite. Beachhead and Activision have complete control over the Application. Activision also owns the rights to the Call of Duty name. So, they'll have to play ball with Activision and Beachhead or they'll end up missing out on making a best selling game. So, as I said, and Activision has already stated this previously, Elite 2.0 is just an update to the current Application. A quote from an article I found a while back follows.

"This shareholder tease led some people to assume that they would have to buy two subscriptions to Elite — the one you have now and a new one for the forthcoming game. Nope. This is more about upgrading and revising the service that currently exists. They always promised Elite would evolve, but now they clearly have some specific upgrades in mind timed to the next game."

“Elite 2.0″ is just a short, software way of saying “significant improvements are in the works.”

            *facepalm*

Okay, let's see if I can explain this rather simply for you. If we are going to use the same application and not download a new one for Black Ops 2, then that also means that we won't have to create new clans or join new ones because the clans we have in MW3 will carry over to Black Ops 2. All we'll have to do is resubscribe to the service and whammo, we have all the DLC for Black Ops 2 that will come out next year, along with all the video guides to the weapons and maps, and other videos they will release with the Elite TV service. It's really common sense.

Forcing us to make new clans for Black Ops 2 would alienate every clan in MW3 because they know that the majority of us will move over to Black Ops 2. So, why make and level a clan in Black Ops 2 when they essentially made our leveling a clan in MW3 pointless by forcing us to make a new clan with each game? It's just not going to happen like that; it's common sense.

If you keep facepalming your will pop a vain, mw3 and blackops are two differnt games so clan stats from mw3 staying on blackops hmmmm.... I don't see that happening, lets see if i can dumb it down to a level you may understand.

The clans may stay but the level, and that stuff i would not think would carry over as remember this they are two differnt companys who have different model plans, the service may remain by it says nothing about the unlockables, ranks, stats carrying over to blackops 2.

Dude, they won't reset the clans to Level 0. We have MW3 Player Cards and Black Ops Players cards. Elite 2.0 will probably have a similar thing for Clans, keeping track of our clan averages for MW3 and Black Ops Seperately, but if you're Level 50 now, you'll be Level 50 in Black Ops 2. They will not piss off a Clan that dedicated lots of time and effort into leveling their Clan by reseting them to 0 when Black Ops 2 comes out. That is just common sense. Also, by the core of the program, if they forced you to create a new clan for Black Ops 2, it wouldn't be able to be named the same thing as that clan name and tag would already be taken, which would piss of Clans even more. Trust me on this. You can argue until you are blue in the face, but you're wrong. You can't seem to grasp that while yes, IW and Treyarch are two different companies, they have no control over ELITE. Things will be added to ELITE for Black Ops 2, it won't be reset for Black Ops 2. Still, I have come to the understanding that you'll never follow what I am trying to tell you, so I am just going to save time and not respond to anything you have to say after this point. I'll just smile when I pop in Black Ops 2 and can slap my Gold Clan Tag on in Day 1.

You mis understand what i am saying, you may stay level 50 for mw3 side of elite but the blackops i would think would be set to 0 as what would be the point of transferring all the levels to black ops? The top clan would be still top clan its not mixing or giving another clan a chance to take the top spot.
