Please... no more double xp weekends

Double xp weekends just seem to attract all the dirtbag hackers back to this game, making it even more unplayable than usual. I'd rather there be no double xp at all. Please Activision....

No no no, the double xp weekends are a "cover" for fixes.

  Why can't you get it through your thick skull mr.silentshot? Double Xp weekends are not a cover up for patches. Why do you want to make the wii community feel so special? Double xp weekends are for everybody, they have always been. I think the only time there was a console specific double xp weekend was for ps3 after they got hacked! it was to compensate for the whole psn network being down for a freaking month!

      Everytime the wii gets double xp, so does every other console. You cannot come to the conclusion that the wii is getting double xp to compensate. If what you're saying is true, then I guess IW is compensating for their obvious lack of patches in the HD consoles too then, eh?

I never understood why people think double XP weekends attract hackers. A hacker can just hack him/herself to 10th easily. Why would they want to purposely play on a double XP weekend just to get XP?

  I don't pretend to understand their way of thinking at all because hacking in the first place is stupid, but I do see a trend of more on double xp weekends. Today was ridiculous. Teleport/ spawn trapping, throwing the enemy team up in the air, and red box all over the place. A waste of time for any legit players. It's pretty much a contest to see who has the best/ most codes.

    My bad, I forgot that the number 1 rule of playing COD on Wii is that anyone that's better than you is probably using hacks. I should've known better.

        haha, raging hackers XD I havent been on the forums for awhile, hey again
        
        I hate double xp..you prestige faster, which sucks for two reasons-
        - If your a level 10 prestige, hackers will target you the most...thats basically what half my allies said to me. (they've been hacked)
        -you have to restart eveything with prestiging, meaning you get crappy weapons for awhile. (this can be countered with unlocking gear)
        
        it'll be way better if Activision just released a patch fixing even a few things at least, but the chances of that happening are slim to non existent. double xp is all we'll get while the other consoles get DLC, and other things...
        
        I often wonder why they even make COD games on the wii anymore...

Not sure about seeing many hackers this weekend except for one guy (for sure) who was ADSing around corners in Blops. (I played MW3 and Blops last night.) Dude was for sure able to see through walls or something...I was using Hacker Pro and NOT moving (since I couldn't also use dead silence pro) and the guy just always knew where I was no matter what. (Even when hid in very, very low-traffic spots.)

Anyway, in MW3, in one TDM I went 19-1-1. In the very next match, I went 8-5-8. All but one of my deaths was from one guy. I would get several hitmarkers - regardless of weapon - and he wouldn't die, but then he would shoot me with a couple bullets and I would be dead. I figured this was just connection lag between him and me since he did die a few times. (He went like 15-5 or something.)

Sometimes, what appears to be a hacker isn't always a hacker. Sometimes it's just lag.
