If not, make sure that Automatic Renewal for your subscription is turned off. I noticed this before, but thought maybe some of you were not aware of this. If you have a premium subscription, you can check your details in your services list.

XMB > PlayStation Network > Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List > Call of Duty ELITE > Call of Duty ELITE 1-Year Premium Subscription

You can choose how your renewal is handled, and 'Cancel Automatic Renewal' is an option if Automatic Renewal is turned on and you are not interested in having ELITE renew automatically. I believe Xbox has a similar option, but I don't have the details.
