SO has an 8 player game mode been confirmed yet?

I mean that's what most of us are looking forward too anyways.

 

Sure we're glad we got classic 4 player mode back and we also got a Left4Dead2 rip-off of a 4v4 match. Hell we even got combat training for zombies (wtf?).

 

But what about 8 people working together on 1 map with twice as many zombies and twice the chaos?

 

Has an 8 player game mode been confirmed yet?

    i was really stoked to hear about 8 player zombies, only for my hopes to be dashed when it turned out to be 4 v 4. I do hope they announce the classic zombies survive mode with 8 players, but AFAIK they have NOT confirmed this. The framerate on a 4 player game was horrible after about round 25. So doubling players and zombies AND fixing this problem seems incredibly unlikely to me, but I live in hope.

    i could be wrong but i belive there was an interview with one of the heads that states that thier is a 8 co-op i could be wrong so dont shoot me over that but im pretty sure it was confirmed

    Treyarch is intentionely dead silent about giving us more zombie infos, so that we can't complain right in time... that could be 1 reason, another reason is that they have loads of surprises for us 8 player co-op enthusiasts so that they can show off what they got so far and how amazing they are... lol! I am hard to impress tbh, but I just hope they won't screw up with giving us just various geez and weez modes and no real 8 pl. co-op mode. If that's the case, I really don't know what will inspire me and my friends to buy it as BO1 seem to be enough to play as we have all dlc's that we got for those nasty prices... I am not sure if we are gonna do it again tbh... we play BO on pc, and we all highly expect this to play BO2 as 1 team with 8 players, and therefore it would be worthy enough to get it.
