Ground War in Free For All?

So I'm the type of player who has always enjoyed free for all, and I certainly play a lot of it. Just the other day I ran into a 10 man free for all game. I was certain at the time that it was a hack of some sort, but it sure was fun. Now today, I could not find a single 8 man free for all to save my life! Every single one was a 10 man. The thing that really had me thinking was that nobody in these lobbies was doing outstanding either. There were no suspicious names with arrows, no high levels or prestiges, and there were certainly no obvious hackers. Could it be that the host was using a hack to make it a 10 person lobby, but not using any other hacks that would give them an unfair advantage? Or perhaps is it something related to the server, or an incidental change made while dealing with the account hopping? Im fairly confused. Though one thing that was kind of cool is I just moabbed in one and it got me 7 kills. Probably the most I've gotten with one before.
What do you guys think? Hack or glitch?
I ran into 10 man free for all's and honestly..It doesnt make a difference with just an extra of 2 ppl.
I'm pretty sure it's a code, because I've run into my fair share of 6v6 KC/TDM and you didn't notice any hackers. And I've gotten a MOAB on a 10 man FFA lobby too(: Check out my channel to see lol
Two extra people don't really make a difference (unless the map is Dome
).
I haven't really played FFA lately after a series of lobbies with pred missiles and assault-support hacks.
The MOAB was on Mission, it was pretty crowded.
Havn't ran into this. Looking forward to it tho. ![]()

glitch
I have been in 7 man team search lobbies 2 or 3 times which leads me to believe that this is just a glitch
the 10 players in lobby code is a hack, it's also non-host. if people enable it during intermission, it will allow two more players to join. that's why you have been seeing it more often. afaik, there is no way to add more than 10 players since there is an in-game restriction. i have seen lobbies with 10/18 players in it though, but that is just a visual and people won't join the additional 8 slots. if you're in-game in, you can only get 10 players.
