Were you able to run CoD4, WaW, MW2, BO, or MW3 without problems?

If so then chances are extremely good that you will be able to run BO2 also.. (assuming it's optimized correctly)

They may be adding a few flashy graphical gimmicks to the PC version, but the game is still primarily made exclusively for the Xbox 360 and runs on the same basic engine.

“[The] PC version is developed by a dedicated pc team simultaneously with the other platforms” - Cesar Stastny (aka pcdev)

The PC version will also use DirectX11, so unless Treyarch create an option to switch between DirectX9 and DirectX11, the system specs could be significantly more than past Call of Dutys or it could be about the same. We probably shouldn't jump to conclusions quite yet.

We have also heard from the developers that the previous games would be cheat free MW2, Black Op's and MW3 but they were/are all infested with them.

The dev's said the games would basically be lag free, but with all the games MW2, MW3 and Black Op's there was lag even when connecting to servers/host's within the same town/country.

The dev's said the games would be optimised properly but they were not.

The dev's said we get pc exclusive features, however I have not seen anything that could be classed as pc exclusive considering they only added what was removed from the games back in to them.

I will believe all the "facts" when I see a video of the pc version and a official statement saying what features are in the pc version, but because we are pc gamers we will not see pc exclusive gameplay because they won't show anything other than the xbox footage as that is there primary market, and they won't give a official statement because they know they will be ripped apart once the game is released if it is not how they stated it would be.

No doubt once the game is released and I post a review in my oppinion on it, on here I will be banned and the review will be ripped down within a hour because I am very confident the game will not be as good as they dev's will say it will be but you never know they may suprise everyone.

To translate in to language you (treyarch) will understand; "twit-eese" (kind of fitting) in less then what is it 150 or 250 caricatures? what ever.

@pcdev:We'll believe it, when we see it: You guys are not to stupid to give us the "STRAIT dope"; and we're not stupid enough to believe you're vauge responces.

Don't listen to the people who are saying that you'll be fine based on your ability to run other games.

People made that mistake with Black Ops.   They assumed (incorrectly), that since they could run Modern Warfare 2, they'd be fine for Black Ops.  It wasn't the case.  Don't make the same mistake again.

Do what the guy making the game suggests, and wait until the specs are released before you do anything.

I have to agree with you on the thing about people assuming that because they could run MW2 it instantly meant they could play Black Op's with no issues.

I seriously doubt though that the hardware requirements will be more demanding than they are for MW3 since they are not about to, spend hundreds/thousands of hours recoding the entire game or making exclusive engine just  for the pc side of the game.

If people are going to compare the game to another, I think they should compare it to Black Ops, not Mw3.

These were Black Ops' min req's:

        OS: Windows® Vista / XP / 7
Processor: Intel® Core 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom X3 8750 or better
Memory: 12 GB free hard drive space / 2GB RAM
        Video Card: Shader 3.0 or better 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600GT / ATI Radeon® X1950Pro or better

The min's should be > than that.
