Not going to happen, they would be better of with making a completely new game than rewriting one of the key features of the game. Pointless to request something like that.

I also have my doubts it would be able to be put into this game. That said, I would pay a pretty penny for "hardcore swinging" as DLC.

But it is worth a shot at requesting and letting it be known that there is actually a real demand for such an option. If not for this game, then for the next one.

Yeah, I wouldn't get my hopes up on them reworking the web-slingin'.  I'm not a fan either, but it serves it's traveling purpose just fine - now if only there was some crime to fight.  Using my fully upgraded Spidey skills only in story missions is starting to wear thin.  I rather fight crime in free-roam than have some Boss Battle or Endless Wave DLC.

Oh man... let me explain this to you why we wont see a new swinging mechanic 99% sure:

Imagine you have a car, but you want to replace its engine. You get a new engine but ALL THE OTHER PARTS dont fit (at all) so you have to completely replace them with slightly modified parts. Thats what you guys are requesting.
