How hard is it to make a Patch?

I don't know much about all this patch info or whatever, but how hard is it to make a pacth? Buff up security, nerf/buff guns, fix glitches, etc. How long should a patch take? Is it the dev's team fault, lack of resources, or is the Wii just too hard to patch easily?
And i'm not mad bro![]()
Not as hard as Treyarch is making it look right now.
Obviously a lot harder than giving us XP once a month.I think the XP weekends are a way to pacify us. And try to make us just go away.
The double XP was for all consoles. So don't feel like that's all they're doing. Double XP means we still have a dev team. Hopefully they're working on a patch. Hopefully...
Double XP is easy once they have it programmed onto the servers. All they have to do is change a few lines of coding at the most.
it can be pretty difficult if you have no organization and don't have a decent documentation. Of which treyarc and infinityward tend to not have both, ergo the reason why we have been waiting so long.
They are probably to busy patching BLOPS2 before it comes out and is a disaster like this game is.
I don't know, how about you try to look at 2000000000 lines of codes and find what's wrong with them?
Well that's the things idk, thank you for at least clearing up something for me. And that does seem pretty hard. That's what a dev team is for, but they actually have to work. I mean it's their job.
My guess is that the wii team is actually the "starting phase" of a treyarch developer. They are the "noobs" and then they get promoted to the real deal. Again, just a guess.....
