2 Player Co-operation Missions

The trailer indicates that you are playing alongside Dr. Holly Goodhead in the first mission, yet there doesn't happen to be any hint that there is going to be a co-operative mission strand?

It would be cool if they did introduce a co-operative mission basis for all levels using the (admittedly politically incorrect) "BOND GIRLS" as the playable second character in each mission chapter.

Any thoughts / inputs towards this spark of ideas would be greatly appreciated

I always enjoy coop with my cousin, so if that was implemented then that would be pretty cool.

Co-operative missions is something that new generation games somehow don't include when it is such a great idea and fun to play with friends and family! Especially since this is classic films remade into a game it would be a better gaming experience to play along with a friend. We have seen co-op missions in a few games such as call of duty world at war and several other games, but it would be great to include it in a Bond game! Player one could play as Bond and player two could play as the Bond girl or even the villain or villain's henchmen?! This is such a fantastic idea that should be optional in every game as it is so much more interesting playing missions with someone else! Thanks for making this discussion!

It may be a long shot but yesterday's pre-order announcement has some very interesting wording:

"With the Nemesis Pack, gamers get to play as Moonraker's space-suited henchman or Live and Let Die's voodoo king sporting his iconic skeleton paint in the Legends and multiplayer split-screen modes."

It seems to suggest that there are distinct split-screen modes in both the multiplayer and single player. Dare we believe...?

I higly doubt that they are going to do co-op missions but it would be really fun I really enjoyed playing the co-op story mode in Everything or Nothing! At least the game is going to have local multiplayer like Goldeneye that is a way to rare thing in games today...

There is a further nod that co-operative play will be included in the 007 Legends single player campaign: http://uk.playstation.com/ps3/games/detail/item534398/007%E2%84%A2-LEGENDS/. Notice it reads "Players: 1 - 2".

And don't discount this information so easily, for it is a reputable site and other details are accurate (such as network play of 2 -12 players).

I also just saw on Amazon uk it says "Customizable companion AI" now why would it give you a companion in the story missions? must be co-op

It's all beginning to come together. Amazon are getting that from the Game: Features section of this site, which reads:

007 EXPERIENCES - Complete different assault, elimination, espionage and defense objectives.  Access unlockable and upgradable gadgets and weapons.  Customize your experience with the companion AI, which allows for varied gameplay and additional storytelling.

I had feared that Eurocom were simply trying to mimic COD and have allies fight with you at all times -which is not how it's done in the films. However, I'd much prefer if co-op was the reason behind the companions.
