For the love of GOD. We clamor for something new, then beg for old maps? I understand having a sentimental attachment to the old maps, I've had my share of favorites as well. But shouldn't we all be wishing for the devs to spend their time creating new maps? New environments? New maps that will maybe someday become our favorites? Maps that people haven't got "spots" on yet? Maps that people don't know all the spawns? Maps we haven't played a gazillion times? Maps with new innovations, more interactivity, more destruction... more visually exciting elements?
I always thought it would be fun to have a "Classic" playlist in CoD games, in which you could play old maps with the new tech in the game... But to ask for something old before the new has even really been revealed? What are we asking for? Personally, I want to see what the devs can come up with when they really put some effort into it. We've already seen all of these maps, and if you are feeling sentimental for them, pop in that disc and play.
