- I think there should be maps that are killstreak responsive. In mw3 the maps are terrible for controlled air support. Black Ops maps were fairly balanced in terms of protection and vulnerablity to controlled air support killstreaks.
However I think Treyarch should consider this: Just like there are little turrets sometimes on maps that can kill opponents like the turret in wasteland on mw2 or the turret on Bakaara in mw3, what if they put Anti-Air turret(s) on maps for big killstreaks the player controlled. You can have a map with a moderate amount of buildings/cover without the AA turret and you can have maps that are more open, with it. This way you can possibly make room to play around with different launchers, ones that don't necessarily have to lock on to air support.
This may seem a bit over-powered against the player in the killstreak but to compensate for it there can be different warning sounds. There can be a sound when locked-on by a launcher and there can be a different sound when locked-on by the AA turret.
I might also add that it is obvious that you'd can make the person in the AA turret vulnerable.
- Also bringing back interactive maps isn't so bad either. Like the closing doors in the map Radiation from Black Ops was pretty clever due to the fact it determined easier access to the 'B' flag in Domination to whom ever took the time to actually make that move/decision for their team.
As well as the rocket on Launch from Black ops that took off and anyone underneath it would be killed.
Not to mention the area on the map Berlin Wall from Black Ops which had sentry turrets that killed anyone caught in "Killzone" in between the wall.
Little interactions on the maps like these determined the flow in which players moved. Maybe an idea similar to the rocket from Launch in a map for Black Ops 2 can be used to help keep "campers" moving at a certain time or times in the match. As well the idea with the sentry turrets on Berlin Wall which had quite an affect on "rushers" for they could not get to their kills as quickly or easily as they would on maps that didn't have these little interactions.
As these (might) be good ideas I don't think that they should make a constant appearance in all maps. Mainly because its good to have the traditional life-less Call of Duty map where the players movements determined their fate and the outcome of the match.
