is there a place for a riot shield in zombies?

It would be handy to plant a riot shield beside a downed comerade and block zombies while a teammate revives the downed guy. Obviously it would prevent a person from shooting (perhaps allow sidearms - might get the cobra or the BO2 equivalent a bit of usage). Maybe allow 4 hits before the riot shield is broken / knocked out of the way. Thoughts?

    Personally i think it would be an amazing addition, if done correctly ofcourse. I think if it was added as a 30 second drop like a deatch machine, with 1 hit melee kills, that would be awwweesoommme.

    As a power-up it would be fun but a riot shield vs a zombie? doesn't seem right, but as a wall weapon it would be pretty useful as a defensive weapon to help fallen teammate as you stated but it would be to easy to be cheap like back yourself into a corner and your invulnerable! so breaking the shield after some strikes would be nice so add a spike onto the shield or add a weapon with it and bam it would be a good advantage.
