Downloadable Content (DLC)

Map Packs Firing Range and Nuketown, being as popular as they were/are in Black Ops, it would be nice to see them added in a flashback map pack. Maybe even create a Hanoi Day map as well.

    The re-use of the maps is like 5 topics down, and so far the real ppl don't want it. New maps please, not the lame wanneby maps recycled.

    People love old maps, people hate paying for maps they have already played before tho.

      yeah but what if they released like MAP PACK 1 FOR BO2! and another free one that is nuketown and firing range .ect old map packs?

    Don't add nuketown/ firing range please... Played black ops the other day and it is ALL the players wanted to play. so over played it isnt even funny. maybe as a dlc #3 coz i sure as well dont wanna spend my time on black ops 2 playing the same maps. just make new maps

    It also always amazes me how after a month after DLC comes out the maps are always voted to skip. Feels like those extra maps are a waste after the first month.

    nuketown sucked, it was the worst map on blops

      I think it would be cool to see some maps come back but re-skined to be a different theme and maybe add or take away a few points for the remade map. they did this with cliffside from waw and turned it into hazard in the blops dlc pack. I would like to have summit come back but maybe done in a dessert themed area or  do it as an are thats been taken over by a jungle. Or they could even bring back nuketown but expand the map to include the houses down the street and you could run through the back yards from house to house.

        I thought the reskinning was awful. Hazard was nothing like Cliffside in almost everyway. If you can make a map that is every bit as exciting and good as an old map and it is a new original one, why would you reskin? Makes no sense to me.

         

        Are are you saying that it's not possible for Treyarch to make new original maps up to such a standard - that all the best have been made now?

         

        Treyarch will NOT recycle old maps, they have never done this and they pride themselves on innovation.

            Sure, but that's irrelevant - Treyarch do not recycle old maps. They are responsible for Black Ops, in the same way that Infinity Ward were responsible for MW3 and chose to "loan" Cliffside and reskin it as Hazard, even though they did not "make" the map.
