ZOMBIE LEVEL UP SYSTEM - A fair way to progress on zombies without changing the essence!!

Posted by Captain.Warrell on Jun 9, 2012 12:58 PM

I´m usually against this type of ideas but... this one I like. Maybe each level you pass unlocks new things that you can customize.

-

For example: The first 10 levels unlock the wall weapons. Once you get to level 10, the wall weapons will remain there forever. Afterwards, you begin unlocking things like attachments for guns, quotes, and even maybe doors or characters. Like once you get the HK21 on the box, you get it with some attachment. This attachments could be turned on & off from the menu, so it doesn´t change the core of zombies... but it gives you an objective to get to higher levels.

-

The top level required to unlock every thing on a level would be so high, people would be always trying to get to higher rounds. Something like level 50 or so.

-

Also, since there are more possible characters, maybe a menu to pick the character you want to play as would be nice.

-

Tell me what you think about this, and give your ideas!

    Why should ranks affect gameplay?

They could just be ranks and people would see how much you have played.

Maybe add in player cards that people can see in zombie lobby and you can unlock new stuff to it (emblems/titles) by getting higher rank or completing achievements in zombies.

RANKS SHOULD NOT CHANGE GAMEPLAY IN ANY WAY!

Its all opinion, but I do not think that zombie ranks should effect gameplay. All they should unlock is quotes, titles, and emblems, and maybe, if there are enough maps, maps. However, everything should be available to everyone in game. The only thing that may be OK is to choose your starting pistol, and maybe if you choose a loadout at the beginning of the match, there is somewhere in the map where you can go and buy it. But I am not completely sure about that. One thing that would be cool is if you started at level 100, and you can get positive and negative XP, so your level actually shows skill, rather than the time that you play.
