Why after a couple kills with my model does half the other team change classes?

I apologize to my teammates in advance games that I use my model as I know that after my first few kills with it half of the other team will switch to a striker class.  I worked my ass off, yelled at my wife, beat my kids, and broke multiple objects while getting that mother gold though and want to show it off once in awhile....... haaaa..... (not really).........(Ok I did yell at my wife, and throw a book at my kids).......anyway, I am not sure of the thought process but it is as predictable as night and day.  I kill a few guys and soon after bam I get sprayed by a striker.  I can understand someone switching classes do to their opponents weapon choice but how the **** does someone think they will even the score with the "model user" by busting out their striker ? 

 

I switch classes to my model sometimes if a guy on the other team is using one just because it is fun but I would feel like a total douchebag spraying some guy who is using the model with a striker.......

 

Goes the same for any LMG but that balances out although the thought process behind that still confuses me.....

    Try knifing only and see how many shotguns come out. It's RIDICULOUS. Makes it more entertaining though

    It's so ridiculous lol, I notice the same thing when I whip out my gold model. Every one switches to either a striker class or just FMG's the ever loving sh*t out of me haha. It's always worth it tho, there is no gun in the game as satisfying to get a kill with, gold model must makes you feel like a next level badass. Kudos on getting yours , always great to see a fellow model man haha.

      Ya man its almost like a brotherhood haaaa....we all know the BS the other guy went through getting that ***** and it is a good feeling when you kick ass with it.    I gotta give sml some credit cuz he kept cheering me on while we were playing when I almost gave up.  I love watching the other team in a scrum trying to pick it up after I die and sometimes you even hear em on the mic making a comment about I want that "gold model".

       

      Yer right about the fmg's I forgot about those but something clicks in dudes heads...."Oh that guy killed me with a model Im switching to my gold striker class, Ill show him whose better with a shotty"

       

      My gold M60 and gold Pecheneg have the same result.  Guaranteed some guy on the other team is going to switch to his M60 if I get him once.  I guess I dont do that or understand it.  I switch classes if the situation calls for it but I dont switch to my AK when someone kills me with it, or my G36 cuz someont got me with theirs.

        Hahaha, so true it does feel like a brother hood . Jealous of your gold m60 I got it all the way up to autumn but I just can't get into that gun it just doesn't click for me. The L86 on the other hand, I'm in love. So much of the time I just feel like the M60 doesn't kill fast enough and killing at range is much harder than the L86 or even most AR's.

         

        It's so annoying lol, if I gold model someone and they come back and golden striker me it's just the most annoying sh*t. The one gun I'm finding a bit of luck not having this with is the M16, but that's probably just because every one runs the silenced ACR anyways lol, they don't really have anything easier to switch too.

         

        The same thing happens every time I swap out to one of my gold snipers too, I get .50cal or RSSAS acog spammed to all f*ck lmao.

          I can see that with the snipers too man.  I am close to gold with my MSR which is the first time in 15 prestiges I have had a sniper past lvl 15 or so.  Im really not that good with them but I am getting better.

           

          Ya man the gold M60 is kind of different.  Throw a grip and rds with the stock reticle.   man its a beast.  I have golded it probably 5 or 6 times just because I love it but it is honestly the ugliest gold gun on the game IMO.  I keep it gold for the novelty but red is where it looks the best.  Its skinny barrel just looks wierd gold I think..  Now the Pecheneg is not as good as the M60 but is the baddest looking gold gun on the game hands down.  That gold ammo hanging down is just bad ass so I do that every prest. too haa...plus its the best of the lMG's with speed on it as you dont need a site or kick with it so you can run speed and grip and rock out. 

           

          Funny you mentioned the M16 cuz I have set it up in a class probably 9 different prestiges and this time i have it halfway through 30.  I change that class between the M14 and M16 but just for ***** and grins I put the T95 in there last night.......wow....its not even fair how much better it is.  I hadnt used that gun in a long time just cuz of how strong it is and its ugly and I like to be different but its like the difference between the model and striker honestly.  The poor M16 cant hold a candle to that gun which isnt fair......

            It's well worth it getting good with the MSR, it's just a consitently fun and good gun especially once you get the hang of it's quickscope mechanics. I would suggest practicing with it in horde mode if you ever want more practice but don't want your KD to suffer.

             

            That's the one thing that I do love about that gun, even if it's not the best gun to and doesn't really in my mind or for my playstyle warrant the slower movement speed-I do love the uniqueness of that gun. Little confused what attachments you use tho haha. Grip, rds (red dot sight) and stock reticle, lol. I've been trying the grip and red dot lately because the stock sights block soooo much of your view and I figure it's better to have the grip rather than kick since you get all profs. with specialist, might as well have kick and grip .

             

            Noooo I was sooo hoping my M60 would get the gold ammo haha, well looks like I've got some pecheneg leveling to do haha.

             

            Ikr, no comparrison between the two. I even feel like the T95 has a much better hipfire aaaannnd less bouncy recoil between shots. But honestly... the T95 is still to much, it just makes the game not fun, especially with rapid fire. One shot guns that you can put a RDS on are just not fun. If I wanted that I would just play hardcore. So I really feel like a burst weapon in this game needs to play like the M16 but that leaves it in the underpowerd league. Really, I don't know if burst weapons, in my opinon, should have much room in this game.

              Sorry my M60 wording was kind of goofy haaa.....I use attachments, grip and rds and I dont change the reticle on the rds I leave it the little dot so that I can see around it as much as possible.  I absolutely hate gold guns with a site on them but have tried and tried and tried literally hundreds maybe even thousands of kills to adjust to the M60's irons and they are just terrible.  They block half of your view no matter how you slice it.  That is why its annoying because I cant use speed with the thing due to the fact that it needs a rds and grip. 

               

              That is where the Pecheneg and MK46 and 36 beat it.  You can use speed and grip and get it done.  The Pechenegs irons are really good once you get used to them and with qdraw they rock.  Dont forget to use Marksman with your LMG's it makes a world of difference staying on target and holding down areas from a distance (I only play dom) and if you are running specialist I put steady aim in slot 1.  The M60 with steady aim has hip fire that rivals most of the smgs IMO and is beastly on small maps like dome where everyone is sprinting everywhere with their shottys and smgs.

               

              I like the challenge of the burst weapons and the MK14 (just got it gold yesterday oooohhh its sexy) and they are fun to use when I am in more of a mello mood and am more patient.  The M16 (as an american) has to be in the game haaa....It just needs its rof buffed a touch and it would be fine.  Although like the model it not being as good makes it more fun to use since nobody else uses it.

    They just switch there weapons to even out the battle! i do it all the time but not with shotguns (I dislike shotguns) if im running SMG'S and im getting murdered than i switch to an assault rifle and change my style of gameplay.

    I love seeing gold models I think i've come across about 3 I like to snatch em up but havn't got one of my own although now i'm in the middle of chasing the PM9 1000 headshot title after that I may work up the mettle to take on the golden model challange.

      Its a grind for sure man.  Especially in obj modes where you are almost guaranteed to run into mult. enemies and not have a chance.  Plus like my OP said as soon as you kill a couple of people be ready for the striker barrage.  The worst is the point blank hitmarkers which do improve some once you get range and damage.

       

      Speaking of the PM9 a kid supposidly reported me for hacking the other night cuz I had a gold machine pistol.....GTFO.....Its a beastly little gun if you never ADS.

    same thing happens to me with my gold USAS.  as soon as i blow a couple of guys back with my shottie, everyone on the other team switches to strikers and goes nuts.  i worked like a mother to gold out that damned USAS and i am gonna use it so help me God.

    Cause playing against shotgunners require a change of pace. Well at least for me. I cant rush as blindly as before and def put on a rf submachine gun. Still need to rush but now I need to have a high fire rate but also needs to shoot straight so i can kill before they get up close.

    I feel your pain. I was working on getting the Spas gold after getting the model, striker, and ksg gold, and everytime I used it, out come the strikers.  I mean I get it, the striker is a beast gun, i've used it plenty myself, but come on, try some of the other shotties out damnit lol!

     

    Getting the model gold was a grind and a half,  but getting one final killcam with it and showing it off was worth it.

    that happens to me all the time they change to the striker or usas 12.this is why i want the model to get a buff because there is no way you will win a gun fight model vs striker or model vs usas 12 head to head,the model 1887 deserves more respect than what it gets.many times i've shot 3 shells into someones back they just turn around laugh at me stick a finger up eat some pie then kill me with 1 stab.

    Be loosing my golden 1887 when 16th prestige comes in but up till then i enjoy using it

    Striker is not the problem. It's really not that great without the extended mags pellets, when it spammed one and two hit kills with decent to good range, but yeah it's still the easiest shotty to use.

     

    The model needs a buff in accuracy as its spread is horrible and it should do more damage cqb (0 to 8 meters). It's in the game for show atm as it gets way too many hitmarkers in its zone for such a slow gun, though it can get sick ohks do its 4 pellet kill potential on range with damage, but it's very luck based as the spread is so random on it.

    used this gun for the first time today and after my first match using it i got an abussive message lol.

     

    funny thing is i finished the game 9 kills and 13 deaths so i dont see why it hit a nerve lol.
