Advisory on Newly Added Clan Member Participation in Clan Operations

To clarify for any clans who are not having newly added clan members count in Clan Operations, only players who were clan members at the time of enlistment will be counted for Clan Operations. Newly added clan members start counting in the first Clan Operation that was enlisted in after their join time.
Beachhead
Beach,
Sorry but this makes no sense considering the last few clan ops were put on the schedule board 2 weeks ago. I enlisted in all of them right away for the most part! I submitted ideas for you guys to Elite Help never got a response I asked questions never got a response. I'm a Dad I'm in upper Managment and I've been gaming since Socom 1. I know a thing or two about clanning and making a game so addictive that people need there next fix ASAP. I want the best for this game because I made the switch from Zipper to you all in Black Ops! I've since bought all of your titles and played them to see how the progression has gone. Not bad at all but your missing a few things and with my help pointing some things out and progressing in some areas in the right direction this game will be close to perfect for the serious gamers.
Hit me up I'm sure you know how to get ahold of me
Thanks
Yea i have the same problem as well.Last week i enlisted in all the clan ops that were up, which was 2 weekends worth and on wednesday i added 3 new members to my clan. Today we were all playing the HC TDM when i realised that only the 3 of us were counting in the score and the new 3 members were not. So i called Activision today and they told me that they are aware of the problem and theres nothing they can do! so pretty much for this weekend and next weekend only the 3 members can participate in the Clan ops while the 3 New members have to wait basically 3 weeks. what a Joke. so what is the point of being able to add members to the clan if the can not Participate in the Operations.
You know what elite that is a load of bollocks.
I have recruited some more people since i enlisted in all the operations. Some are so eager to play they have already wasted 6 hours for nothing. Now seriously you are happy to not have a working system and let your customers suffer.
If this is the best you can do surely there should be a unenlist button then enlist again to sort out this glitch.
I know have to tell the members nothing can be done and they aint gonn be happy!
We have paid for the Elite system and send in requests and no one ever replys back.
I also added all the clan ops I could and then friends came into the clan so I am the only one that can do the clan OP which is retarded.
I agree with adding an option where the leader can un-enlist in the clan OP.
Your system tracks all players so it would not be that hard to see what clan they are in and add them to the clan OP.
Fix this please
I've just found this post AFTER 6 guys spent from 11pm till 2am playing a clan match, only to find out 4 of their scores would not count....
Just a simple courtesy would be to let people know of this quirk, either, at the time they register with a clan or at the Enlist page, surely???
I cannot believe that you intentionally want people to waste such difficult hours playing clan ops they are not going to receive credit for, only to inform them here - via this little ole post.
I agree with the prev post to provide an delist button otherwise - I can see you want to upadate each valid account at the time of clan enlistment, so surely a delist - enlist wouldn't be too difficult and save people becoming repeatedly frustrated and more likely to walk away?
We keep being so dissapointed.... it just feels like such a shame ![]()
It would be nice if there was some way around this as most clan leaders enlist in all of the clan ops as soon as they see them. So during that week they could have added many more people only to have to wait until the next week for them to be able to participate. This happened to my clan and it was annoying as hell trying to figure out why one of our newly added premium members weren't counting.
This is so backasswards! Me and a few guys left our clan which was level 18 to start a new clan yesterday. Due to Activisions' poorly coded Elite website we experienced issues getting the few members invites to work leaving them to have to apply or wait until the "janky" code finally worked. Meanwhile, the clan leader (me) enlisted in all of the upcoming Clan Ops including todays (assuming that everyone in the clan before the op started would be counted)... So as you probably guessed, none of the time from today's clan op counted for anyone other than the clan leader and neither will the upcoming ones since there is also no option to unenlist from an Operation to resolve our current situation so we are screwed for the upcoming week or so.
As the clan leader I'm pretty upset and I'm sure the guys that WASTED 3 hours today playing are as well considering nothing counted. I tried to get on the support chat and see if they could do something to help us out since we are all pretty frequenting players and have past experience in most ops but instead Anthony A. (my support rep) immediately and convienently terminated the support chat. Nice.
Isn't there something that can be addressed about this issue? I agree with the others that this is just another poorly communicated, poorly executed example of how Activision is handling it's players. I know that our tiny clan isn't important in the broad scheme of COD titles but hey, we play/pay a lot. Stop screwing your players and hire some web 2.0 developers who can code a better Elite site.
Here's my issue, as is most of yours. Beachhead, you're posting ops for weeks in advance. We enlist in them when they pop up, not hours before. So now players that joined this week aren't able to participate in any of the next 2 weeks ops because I already enlisted? Do you realize how messed up that is?
I understand what's happening. When you click "Enlist" it registers all GTs in the clan as players to count. But would it be tremendously difficult for it to do a clan refresh on all enlisted clans starting 24 hours before the op? That way if there are new players added, they can play too, but it also does have a limit on the time they can join in.
Either way, get this fixed. This is a ridiculous problem to have that shouldn't be a problem in the first place.
Their way of combatting clan jumpers for emblems etc.
I've got to agree with fatedtitan. It is rediculous, We pay $50 for this service and it has nothing but problems. I was put as leader of my clan this past week, so I added some new members. But since my previous clan leader enlisted in all the clan operations already their scores didn't count today, and I am really upset about it, instead of a gold badge, we only got silver. And to top it off, they put up so many clan ops at one time that we are already enlisted for I think three more weeks, which means their scores aren't going to count for any of those operations either! This is a major problem that needs to be fixed. My clan mates and I payed our good hard earned money for Elite Premium, our scores should all count.
If there is any way to un-enlist and re-enlist so that they do count please let me know
Thanks,
TheRealBigD1
my problem is that they list the ops weeks ahead of time.. so I sign my clan up for 3 weeks of ops.. I get 6 new guys in the clan and now they have to wait for about 3 weeks so those ops can cycle thru and then finally thier scores will start counting..
That's why I always enlist every Thursday night.
