Yes, what a shocker, it's a thread written by myself, Crafty.

 

I would like to say that I'm proud of this small OT community. I'm not hating on the newer guys but I'm talking about the older crew for sticking around and always bein there for a good time or put up a good arguement. I recently looked back on the BO and MW3 OT only to find an empty wasteland full of bland and very uninteresting material. Looking at the old OT with nothing there made me realize how great we are together. Many of you know that it is a small group of us who tend to stick around with each other and we moved from one OT to the next. I just got to say I really like how we are close like that. I don't just look at this section as a forum with bunch of randoms that I don't know and hope I get to read some kind of stimulating comment that may make me laugh or actually interest me. I look at all the people in our small group as good friends, I'm not just talking about VuVu but also about GRaS and some others members.

 

I just wanted to share that.

    You're right, Crafty - I've seen what happened to the MW3 OT Section since we left. It's god-awful. Even Weird wouldn't find it interesting, and he finds everything interesting.

    Reminds me of the ol' CharlieOscarDelta days. I think I spent more time on that site than on Xbox. :/ GOTTA GET THAT GENERAL STATUS (and I did. )

    You just had to bring the ranking back up. :/

     

    I was somewhere just above Captain then the points messed up and I got locked down on Captain rank. I miss the badges and rank.

      My bad, man. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to poke a sore spot.

       

      The ranking was tedious to me. Missions, posts, trivia.... all for the glory of some colored pixels next to my name. I don't miss it at all. But I do miss CharlieOscarDelta. Maybe I'm remembering it with rose colored glasses, but wow that was such an awesome forum.

        The old forum layout was much better than what we have to put up with today. Anyways, here's some pics from the olden days.

         

        Here is me two years ago, with only a measly 5715 posts. I knew how to make some tasty spam back then. It was Reaper, IVIR, and Shadow who really helped me perfect my recipe. I fed a lot of it to Snake to prepare him for the Man Boob Competition each year.

          Record? Record?! My God man, I've seen -600 seconds about three times! I even remember we were making bets on how long it would take to reach the thousands.

            Hmm, I guess it was a record at the time the pic was taken. The worst part about negative seconds was that you'd have to wait until the time went down to zero in order to post again. Really put a damper on spamming.
