Let's remember a few things
Some of the UK clan ops are plain STUPID; NAs should stop thinking about themselves
Not all people who live in the EST are "Yanks". Learn some geography
And yea, AUS is not in the EU
There is never going to be a way to please everyone, but what they could do is:
Suggestions (not all my own and not all good)
- Run the ops at 3(?) different times and do a better job at logging when people play. People could just play in a 3 hour chunk they wanted to
- Have Ops starting at various times (like 7PST, 7 EST and 7GMT), and the clan leader can only pick 1 time for each eligible op. One week he could choose 7PST and the next 7GMT to try and satisfy everyone over a few weeks (note that 7 is an excellent time if you consider the most logical timezones). A UK clan for example could always choose 7GMT, but if the clan is spread they could choose 7PST (which is 4EST and 9GMT)
- Run Friday ops at 4EST (would be 9GMT, 7PST etc...); maybe the same or a little earlier on Saturdays and a more suitable time on Sundays...
other suggestions?
As it stands I (personally) can barely play the lone wolf ops, and Friday clan ops. I am betting EVERYONE is a similar boat here and there.
The bottom line is: Some group is always partially, or fully getting screwed part, if not all of the time. What they have is not working, and I hope they do something better for Elite 2.
