    I 1-burst people at longer range more often when i'm not using rapid fire. I stopped using it and the Type 95 is so much better now.

    So you're telling me the Akimbo FMG's never needed a nerf? That they should have left them alone?

     

    You're also telling me that guns should be balanced around perks.

     

    In that case every assault rifle should only have 30 bullets total.

     

    Every shotgun should only have one 'Magazine' of ammo

     

    Every gun should have a 5 second reload time

     

    No. Just no.

     

    No Weapon in the game should MANDATE a specific PERK, ATTACHMENT, or PROFICIENCY TO BE DECENT. In fact. No weapon in the entire game mandates a perk or proficiency EXCEPT the AA-12. The entire gun is balanced around having specialist and having Damage+Range on it at the same time. With extended mags as well.

     

    If you have specialist active and you have Damage+Range+Extended mags it is perfectly balanced. But until then it's complete garbage. Because you only have the ammo for 3-5 kills before being completely out of ammo.

     

    And FYI: Not all the shotguns takes 1000 kills to get gold.

     

    I had a gold KSG before i reached 1000 kills

     

    I had a gold USAS-12 after reaching over 1000 kills.

    seriously. i call the model the hit marker king. i have been determined to use it, i love the gun but it sucks. i usually try to level it up playing hc, if you try to level it up in core be prepared for your kdr to drop. i used a token on it so im in it for the long haul.

    Not to derail the thread further, but I have completely given up on using shotguns in this game. I don't care what  the situation is. Murhpy's Law. Given the oppurtunity, they will fail on you. The only one that has some reliabilibity is the Striker. That's only because of it's fire rate.

     

    I mainly play Hardcore and I've had some serious WTF moments, especially with the model. I've gotten kills from a mile a way without the range attachment, that I had no business getting. Then I've gotten the drop on guys, point blank, aimed in, 4 shots with the damage attachment, (Still in HC mind you) and getting nothing but hitmarkers.  With the lag comp the way it is in this POS game, it's just not worth it to run something you can't absolutely count on.

    Nonsense my Mk14 with rapid fire and focus eats T95 for breakie. Answers is simple T95 is used by less experienced players.

    Gosh, I wish I was better with the MK14.

     

    It just doesn't seem to fit my preferred play style or accuracy skills.

     

    I know, I know... time to put in some work...

    The Mk14 to me, is the most dynamic AR in the game. It can be used so many different ways, it is definitely my anti-sniper weapon of choice. And even on mid-sized maps, if I have energy, I'll use it, but make sure I pull the fire button as quick as can every opportunity (when I don't use RF, which I rarely do).

     

    But I am in the same boat as you are. I am still not good enough with the Mk14 to use it on most maps; instead I just use it for large maps with long sightlines. This has obviously made leveling it up a slow process (and I even unlocked it with my token). I just usually give up on using it on smaller maps because simply, I'm not fast enough with it yet to do well with it all the time.

     

    But the Type 95? It's one of my "go to" guns. Never unlocked it early with a token or anything, it comes early enough. But if I am not hitting lag, it doesn't matter the map. I have become comfortable enough with it to where I know how to use it for my play style. I do lose out to better players with automatic weapons, especially those savvy enough to strafe. But for the most part, it's a gun I can "go positive" with on most maps. But it's not a fantastic flanking weapon for me unless I run with a silencer.

    simple point the Type 95 is great if a player can aim but thats limited to short-medium range thanks to its fast damage drop off and at the range the Type is best at you really could just have a RF SMG and hip spray

    Started messing around with the T95 last night.... oh gosh, I think I'm in love!

     

    Wow.

     

    Definitely going to get this thing gold for this prestige.

    I get gold T95 every prestige. usually by level 50 or so. Got around 20,000 kills with it so far. just use red dot and rapid fire. It is a beast and the best gun no matter how many hate on it.
