New Killstreak Ideas. "Pro" Killstreaks

What does everyone think about having a "pro" Version of killstreaks? You would have a set of challenges to unlock it and the higher the killstreak the harder the challenges. My ideas so far include

 

Spy Plane : up for 40 secs, shot down with one missle

Pro spy plane : up for 50 secs, shot down with to missles, ( after first missle hit, radar becomes slighty static)

 

Napalm Strike : One plane dropping naplam, you choose the path

Pro Napalm Strike: Two strikes and you can choose the path of both planes (paths can not cross)

 

Rolling Thunder : same as napalm strike and pro napalm strike

 

Sentry gun: 1 Sentry Gun

Pro Sentry Gun : 1 Sentry gun equiped with hardend and has to explosive tips ( think Crossbow)

 

Motar Team : 3 Mortars

Pro Mortar team: 5 Mortars

And so forth and so on with other kill streaks.

 

3 new ideas for Kill streaks include

"Hell From the Heavens" A combo of Napalm Strike and Rolling Thunder

"Frost Bomb" A Plane dropping bombs of liquid nitrogen. A direct or close to direct hit  is an instant kill, while an indirect hit results in your weapon Freezing for 5 secs(can not fire) and loss of half your life

Lastly ( no name at this time) A mortar strike of your choosing between High explosives, Napalm, or  Liquid Nitrogen ( pro version can combine all 3)

 

What do you guys think???

    UAV's get spammed enough as it is. Also you only get at most two rockets to take stuff down, so having a spy plane that takes two missiles is just too much for a 3 pointstreak

      I agree with the guy above me, get rid of the spy plane idea, maybe having a pro version increases the kills by 1? so that the killstreaks arent so OP? but yeah i love the idea of pro killstreaks... but heres an idea, maybe you could colour you Prokillstreaks instead of changing them. depending on the colour of you gun, example: if you had red tiger on your gun, your pro killstreak would have redtiger painted on it. sounds like a waste of time i know. but it would just make it a little more fun

        i agree that spy planes are a bit over used but for most killstreaks there is a counter of some sort. see spy planes alot, switch to ghost. naplam strikes, use flak jacket. sentry gun, use hacker to see it or hacker pro to make it your own. Theres alot that could be done with pro versions of killstreaks. just some things that i had thought of. I would like to see some new killstreaks though.

    Technically this isn't a new idea for, at least for Treyarch. They had something like this back in Call of Duty 3, the more you leveled up a certain class (Sniper, Anti-Armor, Light Support, etc.), the better the effect of certain special ablilities they had (Snipers for example had the ability to call in Artillery Strikes, the more you leveled the class, the more shells you had in one strike).

    The only way this would work (in my opinion) is if you take the Pro killstreak as the basis (which may require increasing the number of points/kills for it). Whether you then have the non-pro streak at a lesser points/kills streak or not would be another consideration.

     

    Put simply, a killstreak should be a subtle assistance and balanced, not a lucky multi-kill and all mayhem breaks loose!

      To Further my idea , why not make where you can only use the pro version of a kill streak once per match. That way its not OP, and you can choose to either have your killstreaks recycle during a match or you can choose to have a pro versions. This way you can keep your regular killstreaks and try for the pro versions or you can just have regular kill streaks that recycle

    the idea has a good concepts behind it but to make it balanced would make it to confusing for some people, besides they have done enough in that area already, its perks that need focus and if treyarch were bothered enough to give me the phone call i asked for i could give them a balanced system to use.

      Thats all this is, just a concept. Many things could be done with this. I highly doubt it will ever be put in place but a pretty cool concept though. Just wish they would add some new streaks or slightly tweak what they already have. Just keep the nuke/Moab out of it. No need for one man to have a killstreak that destroys an entire team at once

    I have an idea for one new killstreak ''NOVA 6''! It would be a plane with NOVA 6 that goes to the center of the map and turns out NOVA 6! To escape the sure death you have to stay inside! Every teammate of the guy who call the NOVA 6 plane takes a mask to be outside! Every enemy player who has the tactical mask, can be outside without death! Nova six is in the map for at least1 minute!!! If there are enemy players outside without tactical mask they die with 5 seconds! What do you think?

     

    P.S. If it had a pro version it would be NOVA 6 for 2 minutes!!!

      I like the gas bombardment idea but i think it should be delivered like a Napalm strike or rolling thunder..maybr even the mortar team. Pick a path or 3 spots on the map and it gets covered in gas for 20 secs. 25 at most. 1 minute of gas is just 2 long. Maybe if you get the gunship or chopper gunner you could choose to fire 2 or 3 cans of gas down on the map. I always use nova gas in my tac slot and throw it out in high traffic areas. I hear the hit marker start ticking and i can roll in for the kill. Its like a deadly alarm. You can spam the gas but if used in the right way you can make it act like a cheap radar. Unless the person is using tac mask (which very few do) You can throw it in a high traffic area and focus on another area close to it. This way once they enter the gas, your hit marker goes of letting you know that someone is close and can go run in for the kill or throw a nade in that direction. I for one hope they bring nova gas back or something like it.
