Weird disk read errors.

Not that long ago i could play the maps "Dome" and "Mission" but recently my game started to disk read error everytime i played the maps (Even on private). Just wondering if there is anyway to fix this?

    yeah i looked into it and people are saying they brought a new disk and everything was fine, its never happend to me before so i cant be 100% but a few of my friends and other people on some fourms have said they got a new disk and it was fine. good luck!

    Can you tell us what system you are playing on? Are there any scratches or cracks on your disk? Make sure to wipe it off with a soft cloth.

        Try the following,

         

        Do the following to delete the PS3 browser cache:

         

         

        In the Playstation XMB select "Network".

        Scroll down and select "Internet Browser" and Press X.

        Press the triangle button.

        Highlight "Tools" and press Right on the analog stick or diagonal pad.

        Scroll down and highlight "Delete Cache".

        Press X and select Yes.

         

         

        Do the following to delete the browser's cookies:

         

         

        In the Playstation XMB select "Network".

        Scroll down and select "Internet Browser" and Press X.

        Press the triangle button.

        Highlight "Tools" and press Right on the analog stick or diagonal pad.

        Scroll down and highlight "Delete Cookies".

        Press X and select Yes.

         

        PlayStation 3 Game Data Utility

        1. Scroll to the Game tab of the XMB and select "Game Data Utility."

         

        Select Game Data Utility

         

        2. Select the game data of the title that you wish to delete and press the triangle button.

         

        Select the appropriate game data and press the triangle button

         

        3. Select "Delete" to remove the game data.

         

        Select Delete

    OMG i think this is probably waaaaaay too late to answer this, but i have the EXACT same problem on the same system. Dome and Mission kick me back to the menu with a disc read error message. On occassion.. like 1% of the time i might get in as a fluke, that's if i try and try to join a game on that map though
