Is Call of Duty ready for the future?

Posted by djwickedpete on May 20, 2012 1:32 PM

I'm not alone when I say this, but I think Call of Duty needs a new era. Back before Modern Warfare was thrown into the mix, it was all about WW1 and WW2. It was vastly popular at that time. When Modern Warfare was introduced, it drew a lot of attention. Call of Duty took a big step into creating a new era because they wanted innovation. Modern Warfare made quite a run, but in the end people just weren't that much into it.

To answer the question Call of Duty is ready for the future because that's the risk they are willing to take from Modern Warfare. I cannot say where the franchise will end up after the Black Ops era, but I do know that it will be a long one. Just like the one Modern Warfare made for years. What do you guys think?

I think its great. We were going to have to move to the future at some point, and since Treyarch would be absolutely hated for staying in the cold war, they had to. But I think its great. We are finally going to see some proper innovation!
