I think I may have used this item on a class for maybe a game or 2, but I am 36 and I dont read up about a lot of stuff, and mostly can understand what the hell things do. I really am not sure what this does. Does it beep more the closer the enemy gets, and if that is so you still dont know the direction am I right. Sorry for the dumb ?, but just didnt see the point of it, as compared to using something else and listening to footsteps when available.
portable radar puts out a signal radar in a circle pattern, when an enemy not using assassin breaches that circle you will hear a beeping sound to alert you someone is in the vicinity of your prortable radar.You will also see a red dot appear within the circle whenever someone comes withing the range of your portable radar however it will not show thier direction. It is useful for domintation to defend flags and camper friendly for other game modes.
I appreciate you awnsering my question, so it is almost useless playing HC unless someone has UAV up. I mean it isnt totally useless since it will beep, but really. I am not a good red dot chaser, and when a CUAV is up I use that to get further from the enemy.LOL
In HC yes it is worthless unless there is a uav up.
Disagree, if you're defending one route in HC its fantastic. The beeps are there if you listen to say 'turn round you fooool!', I also think they're louder the closer people are. So its not useless, just not as crazy good as Core.
I think you can press start to check the map to check the location of anyone in it
does anyone know if you have assassin pro will the radar still beep?
No beep... If you use it then try to have a quick count when someone calls in UAV, then you know how reliable its gonna b that game. Thats what I do anyway.
