AC-130

When using the AC-130 what does the blue button do?

 

Think Ive been missing a trick!

    Depends on your controller config... But change weapon cycles through the 3 guns it has. E.g. you fire the big rocket, cycle to smaller and fire 3, cycle to gun and then repeat. Gives you a bit more firepower... However the 3rd weapon (gun) is utterly crap.

    thanks 7 & total,

    so slightly of topic what is better on avg to use the Pave or the AC?

      Depends on who you're playing mate - if you're playing rocket happy 'shoot down your cobra in seconds' guys then the AC is harder to shoot down. Some maps are shocking for AC...If most of the enemy team is rocking blind eye then obv AC130 is best as you can still smash them and laugh as they cry 'what the hell i've got blind eye' on the mic. Lastly i'd say be mindful of what your team is packing - if you play with a party make sure you all dont have choppers as you'll never get yours on the map.

       

      I prefer the Pav most of the time as it doesnt take you out of the game - plus the reaper is awesome and you can have that first... Get good with that and you can fly the rockets in to buildings etc.

        I kinda play solo 98% of time, and it seems to me that me pavs get smashed in seconds and I dont think Im very good wiv the AC lol.

         

        Specialist is my thing really, but thanks for the tips.

    No worries, like I said if you see all the streaks getting shot down in seconds just go specialist. If you want to get good with the AC then just practice in private lobbies or something.
