I purchased Collection 1 DLC (PC), and I played DLC maps.
I disabled DLC and I try to play normal maps, but when game start, [Files Diffrent from server] error occured.
Is there anyone have same problem? anyone know how to solve this problem?
And I try to play normal maps, I catch small number of room than before purchase DLC.
Please solve this problem... sorry to my bad english skill.
I'm having the same issue. it seems i can't join any lobby if i disable dlc. And i can't join games with my friends who don't have the dlc, if they're host.
same here...this happens in roughly 50% of the games i try to enter. some work fine. i disabled the dlc when searching for normal games. also, its almost impossible to find games. usually at this hour there are 11-13 ground war games available. now, perhaps 1-2. and if there is 2, half of them kicks me out because of "files different from server".
i have tried to verify the files again, no problem, deleted all the local files etc. etc...nothing changes...hasnt everone downloaded the patch, or is it so that the servers haven't been updated yet?
no one else with the same problems or suggestions of fix?
at least if enough people scream, someone has to see it:P
I don't have DLC yet, but I saw this error yesterday when I tried to play these new communty game modes. Standard gamemodes worked ok...
i got the same problem on pc when i wanna play the server files are different i got dlc too on pc i hope some wan now to fix this
ok!
so now ive been in contact with the activision chat support and spoken with 2-3 different people there. they all seem to put the blame on steam. unfortunately steam support is a VERY timely effort, as in general a response takes at least 3 days. but ive written them as well.
the steps ive done so far myself is uninstalled the whole game and steam.
and reinstalling now, only with the patch first to see if the patch is the problem or the dlc.
if the patch works. i guess there will be a fix coming to the dlc coming at some point...
ill keep you posted.

Verifying game cache will most likely result in it re-downloading your sound files which you probably have disabled (ie renaming the sound folder "miles"). With the sound on so far 0 issues, with it off nearly always an error.
the sound folders name is miles?
i havent disabled any sound files though...
Then you have probably altered other "illegal" things, maybe an item in your config?
