defibulators in COD

Posted by infamy96797 on May 8, 2012 11:24 AM

not saying its a great idea but instead of last stand or w/e variation they call it if the have it instead of that have a defibulator in the same slot as the motion sensor because you no they will have one or something that acts like it. i guess if yur team mate can defib u before you respawn is when it should work.  and its not usable in HC SnD or SnD.

Its been done... not sure it would work in an arcade shooter like CoD.

Can we have a blowtorch to rep our vehicle killstreaks too?

And ammo packs to drop for non-Scav users?

I'm just glad you weren't saying it's a great idea.

I don't think it'll work in core gametypes considering that you instantly spawn (unless you watch all your killcams).

Not a good idea in my opinion.

i think it would be different. it would be nice to see them put it in there with a COD element and not a battlefield one, maybe like a support kill streak or an assault streak where u can revive someone my a special grenade( only 1 person) and maybe certain perks can cancle it out(on the person who ur reviving and who killd them). Honestly i would like to see it in the game but used in a different way than batlefield. just my opnion.

Something like that was in CoD3, but I'm not so sure if it would work in a modern CoD.

Go play BF3 if you want to play medic and go around reviving the dying.

I think if you have enough lead in you to put you on your butt you should not get back up.

Your idea was actually done in a different way in WaW. Does anyone remember the revive perk that NO ONE ever used? Instead of defibrulators  you used injections to get back in the fight.

In a game like this with 12-18 players on small maps and immediate re-spawns, its not necessary.

Just to add on to that, not anyone could revive a downed player. In order to do that, you had to have that perk on as well. It gave a purpose to the perk and I think thats why people didn't complain about it as much. In BlOps, anyone could revive a Last Stander... and it more often than not got that generous person killed.
