I doubt it would. There are hardly any actual 'noobs' left when it comes to call of duty. Winning just doesn't matter much any more to a lot of players. As long as they can keep a good KDR, get some killstreaks, or go for a moab, that is pretty much the major motivation for a lot of players. I do agree it's extremely frustrating when you play solo and get stuck with a bunch of team mates like that. For some reason tho it seemed much easier to carry a game of domination in blackops even if you were the only one going for the flag.

If people want to start playing a game mode not played before (in that game) there should be an option to read a little bit about it but a mandatory tutorial is a no.

@avengedyesterday: Why no "noobs" every game new people will start playing.

The tutorial is all in the text at the beginnig of the match.
