Ballistic vests seriously need a counter, especially in hardcore search and destroy.

Please make it either that the impact proficiency counters them or that they only give you 50 extra hp, not how it is currently where you need 2 cm901 bullets (49+49=98 damage) BEFORE you can affect the BASE health of the player. So you can deal 127 damage (1hp they'd have left) and still not get a kill. That's ridiculous beyond belief. That's more than core health, in a hardcore gamemode!

 

 

Here's a scenario that frustrates the crap out of you: (it's very common too)

 

Game mode: HC SND

 

 

My friend sees a guy at about close-mid range and starts to shoot him with his mp5 (this occurs to many guns, but this was an example that just makes me irate). He get's literally 4 hitmarkers, and then the guy whips around with his m4 hybrid sight and kills my friend with 1 bullet! There was another time that I shot a guy at mid range with my ACR and got 3 hitmarkers, but no kill. I had a full bar and literally went through 3/4 of my clip just trying to down this guy. I finally put 2 more bullets into him and he dies.

 

The problem is, is that it is extremely hard to take down someone unless you camp your butt off just to get the jump on him. You can get the jump on him, but he can absorb 3 bullets and that whip one into you and he gets the kill, even though you outplayed him.

 

 

You basically have no chance of winning the game when you are facing a whole clan who use them every round. You can outplay them, but because they have the vests, they are going to win. That doesn't make sense whatsoever. So my point is: Why can't the impact proficiency or focus proficiency (on smg's to be fair) negate the vest? Or at least, why can't it only give you 50 more hp, not more than that?

 

 

 

Please put this issue at the top of your list. It is ruining hardcore snd, a community that was growing rapidly. I NEED A RESPONSE FROM A DEVELOPER ON THIS. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE AND IS RUINING THE FUN FOR THOUSANDS OF GAMERS! YOU WILL ONLY UNDERSTAND MY ISSUES IS YOU HAVE WITNESSED IT FROM OUR SHOES YOURSELF. PLEASE, WE BEG YOU TO FIX THIS. I PUT SO MUCH TIME INTO THIS POST BECAUSE I REALLY WANT YOU TO FIX THIS. PLEASE GIVE ME A RESPONSE FROM A DEVELOPER ON THIS. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL POSTS ON THIS, AND I MUST SEE IT FIXED.

Edit: In fact, you can do 176 damage on a guy and he can still live. For example, I headshot(with an msr sniper) a guy with a vest in hardcore. 98+a 1.5 headshot multiplier equals 147 damage done. Now, I have completely destroy his vest and can FINALLY affect his base health. Assume I use my mp9 and deal another 29 damage. 147+29=176 damage. Now he still has 1 hp left. That's rediculous. IS THAT WHAT HARDCORE IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT? HAVING MORE HEALTH THAN CORE (unless the dude has a ballistic vest in core)?????
