HARDENED EDITION?????

Does anyone know if there will be a hardened edition for black ops ll???

    no one knows yet, most likely there will be though, and as long as you have preordered black ops 2, you will be first notified and have first dibs on hardened editions.

      Great!  When i had pre-ordered black ops  hardened edition a month after they announced it, it was then delivered to my home day before release date.... so maybe i should wait until they announce it but in the mean time do you know where the best place is to pre-order black ops ll cause prices vary depending on where purchased??

    That information is currently unknown. The only thing we can do now is wait for the official word.

     

    I was surprised Activision decided not to include a Hardened or Prestige edition with Modern Warfare 3 considering Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops were a huge success with their special editions. It may of been due to the focus on Elite.

      Yes, patience is a virtue so im more than happy to wait. And to be honest i purchased mw3 and was extremely dissapointed with it, after 30minutes of playing i put the game aside, this was due to the sound quality and the dusty graphic's but i have to admitt since the sound quality was fixed i have played it now and again but prefer black ops. so maybe it was in there best interest not to release a hardened edition because they might of had alot more dissatisfied call of duty gamers as there was already.

      Modern Warfare 3 had a Hardened Edition, it came with Founder Status.

    There will most likely be a Hardened Edition of Black Ops 2. I haven't pre-ordered yet because I want to wait to see what the options are for that. And plus, I want to see what the multiplayer will have first

      Steve, first and foremost, you should definitely pre-order your copy because even though you want the LTD edition, you should reserve it. When it drops, (as a manager of Gamestop) the store you pre-order it from will call you and give you first dibs. so you really could be counting yourself out without trying. Also you will be in the first wave. And there will definitely be something Prestigious.

      yes me too, i would like to see what the muliplayer game mode has to offer aswell lol

    There most likely will be a hardened/prestige edition. Either way, I'll pre-order a copy of the game and buy hardened/prestige edition at midnight release. Don't ask why I just feel like it's a good idea >.< Anyways yeah, there most likely will be one, there was in Black Ops and MW3.

      i suppose thats a good idea but i really couldnt line up for hours on end.... no thanks lol. Your probably right  they should bring out a hardened edition seen as they have with the last 2. Im mostly intrigued as to what the multiplayer game mode like and the features.

    I'm from the U.K and there is a gamestop here when you go on the Website, however amazon is the best, has the cheapest price, i pre-ordered it at £41, now im paying it at £36, coz the price changes

      I wouldn't pre order online i'd wait like others have said, I got my MW3 hardened from Gamestation but i made a mistake , I should of gone to Granger Games or evan tesco as they seemed to have the best deal when it came down to it,

    There's no official news yet, but a couple of days ago someone posted this link with info from a UK game retailer. It talks about a Standard, Hardened, and Elite Edition.

    Pretty sure they will have something along with a year subscription to Elite.
