Join mid game

Since it's on an MP engine I would like to think that you can jump in to your friends match mid game if it's an unlocked game.

 

Would be great for going longer rounds and if someone has to drop out you can substitue that guy right then with another if you've got them on backup.

    That would be awesome.

    There should be points given to the joining player depending on the round.

    1-4: 500

    5-9: 1000

    10-19: 2500

    20+: 3500

      Ya that would be great too.

       

      Maybe even give the new guy joining in mid game half of the average of the rest of the players unless under a certain ammount of points at a certain round.

    I've always thought about this problem: How would you go about keeping the leaderboards from being bombarded with people that get invited at level 10 billion just to be on the leaderboard?

      Ah, you are very right. Leaderboards for highest rounds would pretty much go out the window. Maybe they could think up something and drift away from rounds and be all about kills? Or that could just be another game mode.

    stupid idea say you join on a round 20 game everyone else is set up, where as you just got a pistol and 3500 points wont get you anywhere

      You get jugg and 1 box hit enough to get you started and getting points.

      You can't just give points away. You gotta make them still work for it.

       

      Then it would turn into; "Hey go get to lvl 28 then I'll join up once you get there and I'll have a ton of points".

       

      No just no. You have to work for your stuff too. I can understand some fair ammount of points to get you going but that should be it.
