wait you're saying you'd rather there be only 3 killstreaks? if that's what you're saying y? isnt more options more variety better? i would think so newayz
Think of it like balance in a sauce... too much of one spice or too little of another makes all the difference.
There was a certain simplicity to 3-5-7.
Killstreaks... not perks... have really changed the way COD plays.
I would like to see perks go. The create-a-class should stay as long as there is a decent variety of weapons, equip. etc. I wouldn't mind the killstreaks going back to the 3-5-7 but there should be a total of 6 killstreaks altogether with 3 being "assault" types and 3 being "support" types and carryover the ability to set any combo of 3 per class.

I could go with that.
I have to say that perks going away would be completely fine with me. it makes more sense if as you use a gun you get better with it. So rather than steady aim, i get better at hip firing as i am using the gun. Maybe gun levels stay, and we get to "improve" on something when it levels? such as, I hit Gun Rank 10 on my M16 now I get to pick to increase reload time, Hip fire, ADS time, Ect. then everyone can make their guns fit their play style.
I have truly been pondering upon Vahn's statement.
Could it be the "Super Power" Perks like Marathon/Extreme Conditioning? Just run for a bit while and you will have the ability to run top speed for unlimited amount of time..
UAV Jammer/Cold Blooded/Ghost/Assassin: just shoot some stuff down and kill someone while you are using a silenced weapon and you will be "invisible"?
I wonder if we will now have to have equipment that we will have to use for such Perks as Stealth and Intel (Hacker/Sitrep) in order to have these attributes.
GIVE US SOMETHING VAHN!!!!.....
the one thing i want to see in bo2 is that in hc any rocket that locks on anything but a vehicle like a helo or a spy plane need to be locked out and thats going for tubes too to many player use them as a mean weapon and think because they get loads of kills that way thay r good players and onemore thing i love the xm25 i used it when the game first came out now i use it when i play and all my deaths r from tubes

Meh... I play HC 99% of the time and explosives don't really bug me.
So... it looks create a class as we know it just might be it... props to Vims.
@ranKismet Ran, the "sacred cow" Vahn was talking about removing in BO2 examiner.com/article/treyar…

Indeed thank you Vims and Ran. This is very interesting to read. This somewhat comes off to me as nearly a gun game, and Specialist system somewhat. If this is a snippet of what is to become of the system, than this is going to shake the nO_oBs foundation.
