That is where you are a fool they can lie and do lie at such meetings when ever they need to throw off the masses when they are about to do or try something that may not exactly be wanted or liked. Never assume just beause someone was there and talked to them, that they are not lieing or will not or can not change anything about the game at a moments notice. They do not need to keep it exactly as was said in that interview ever. To think that they do is just foolish and ignorant of how the world really works.
I am not ignoring anything, nor is this a troll. This is a simple observation based upon what information is available and how these companies have performed in the past.
Get a few more years under my belt? I probably have more years under my belt playing games of every genere and game type than almost any other person on this forums save the developers. I have been playing games for 30+ years since the very first consoles and very first pc games ever existed. So yes I do know how games work, more than you may wish to think or understand. I have played games on every console ever made. I have seen companys come and go, I remember the console game franchise crash, and how console games almost ended because of it.
So before you think I do not know or understand about games or game companies, think again bub. There is nothing that happens in the gameing world that suprises me anymore on what can happen or why.
To blindly assume or expect that the game will remain the same as the trailer or the interview stated is just foolish. Only when the game is released will anything be truly known about the game and not a day before.
According to TSD, all FPS games are pretty much the same game because you use guns and kill people (yes he actually said this in the MW3 forums). The fact that he's comparing to Halo and Starcraft is no surprise.
No, that is where you are wrong even in thos game modes you still kill for points. You always kill regardless of the game mode. So no there is no difference in how the games are at all. They play the same, they just have diffences in how they may look. And yes Halo is the same as CoD and CoD is the same as BF3 just fans of each game try to defend them against being compared to each other out of stupid vanity and pride reasons.
To the origonal post. Your an idiot. Halo is set 500 years in the future this is set 13 years from now.
If any game at all it reminds me of Deus mixed withe Metal Gear Solid.
10 years in the future isn't really a massive jump lets hope they don't go overboard ,has anyone ever seen those tanks on the drawing board ? Look really slow and cumbersome .

I'm what? I seem to be the only person logically going about this. Anybody can throw out wild assumptions and point fingers, I did it when I was 5.
The reply was for troll star. Notice how the replies stack up. A direct reply will indent itself and start a new stack. And then when the discussion gets beyond the first page all of that goes out the window.
I have seen some of the reasearch on the armor that is being worked on. Yet even by those standards what the game shows is still beyond that scope of range in that amount of time.
As toward the military being underfunded it allready is, they constantly have closed bases and shut down places of operations. Most of the reasearch of these new devices is not even being done by the military but by third party companies.
We are no were near close enough to have mechs like in the game in 13 years, some of most advanced robots we have now are barely tinker toys.
Much of what is shown about the game puts it at least another 30-50 years out beyond the date the game suggests.
Since you're apparently this huge gamer, may I ask what games you played on the Magnavox? I would love to know, since you know, even though this console only went for a few years 1972-1976, which is more than 30 years ago. I would love to know the games you played as a child, bet you're lying, and I bet I've been playing games longer truthfully.
