Black Ops II Weapons, Attachments, Lethal Grenades, Tactical Grenades, and Specials (as of 9/18/12) Assault Rifles: Country: United States / Germany Manufacturer: Heckler and Koch Cartridge: 5.56x45mm NATO Fire Rate: 750 rpm Fire Mode: 4-Round Burst Damage: Medium Range: Medium Recoil: Low-Medium Magazine Size: 32 Rounds (Standard), 48 Rounds (Extended) Otherwise known as the XM8, this rifle looks to be the standard rifle of the Black Ops soldiers. Developed by H&K as a lightweight replacement for the M16 and M4, the XM8 competed in the Objective Individual Combat Weapon (OICW) challenge to replace the M16 and M4, but failed. Obviously Black Ops 2 has ressurected the rifle. The in-game version appears to be a modification of the existing rifle, with an upper rail on the carry handle and a new handguard. A First-Person View of the M8A1. An M8A1 with the Reflex Sight. Country: Russia Manufacturer: Izhmash Cartridge: 5.45x39mm Fire Rate: 600 rpm (Full Auto), 1800 rpm (2-Round Burst) Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Medium Range: Medium-High Recoil: Low Magazine Size: 30 Rounds (Standard), 45 Rounds (Extended) This is the AN-94 Abakan, a relatively new and advanced Russian assault rifle. Also seen a few times in the trailer, and appears to be the standard Insurgent rifle. It has a unique 2-round burst fire that can be used in-game as well as fully automatic firing. This gun also features an advanced anti-recoil system with a recoiling barrel assembly and compensator. This allows the 2 bullets to be fired before the recoil hits the shooter, giving tight grouping for the weapon. Also interesting to note, the magazine is canted slightly to the right, as this is necessary for the design. A First-Person View of an AN-94. Reloading the AN-94. Country: United States / Belgium Manufacturer: FN Herstal Cartridge: 7.62x51mm NATO Fire Rate: 625 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: High Range: High Recoil: Medium-High Magazine Size: 20 Rounds (Standard), 30 Rounds (Extended) The Special Operations Forces (SOF) Combat Assault Rifle, or SCAR, is a battle rifle made for SOCOM to satisfy the requirements of the SCAR competition. It is currently being seen fielded to troops alongside the M14 as a general-purpose battle rifle. It features a modular design, a full-length barrel and a plethora of rail space. It appears to be very similar to the SCAR-H’s style in MW2, albeit the magpul, as well as a Black finish instead of tan. A First-Person View of the SCAR-H. Reloading the SCAR-H. Country: China Manufacturer: Norinco Cartridge: 5.8x42mm Fire Rate: 900 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Medium Range: Medium Recoil: Low-Medium Magazine Size: 30 Rounds (Standard), 45 Rounds (Extended) The Type 25 is a futuristic variant of the Type 95, a Chinese Bullpup assault rifle chambered in a 5.8x42mm Chinese Special. In-game it looks to be the standard rifle variant with some futuristic styling changes. It also is fully automatic, a change from MW3’s Type 95. It also features a ditigal camo as a default for the gun. Only time will tell if will be as infamous as the overpowered variant in MW3. A First-Person View of the Type 25. Relaoding the Type 25. Country: Switzerland Manufacturer: Swiss Arms Cartridge: 5.56x45mm NATO Fire Rate: 800 rpm Fire Mode: 3-Round Burst Damage: Medium Range: Medium Recoil: Low-Medium Magazine Size: 30 Rounds (Standard), 45 Rounds (Extended) The SIG-556 is a 3-Round burst rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and designed by Sig Sauer, thus its name. It features a full length gas piston operating system with a 2-position gas valve, allowing the rifle to feed reliably in poor conditions. The SIG-556 has a thin profile and compact length, also complemented by a 16 inch barrel. It has a magpul stock, as well as a polymer ergonomic handguard. In-game it features an OD Green finish. It is chambered in the 5.56x45mm NATO round and uses 30-round STANAG magazines. The MTAR-21 has ejection ports on both sides of the rifle so it can easily be reconfigured for right or left-handed shooters. The receiver is made of reinforced plastic and is waterproof and lightweight, making the rifle more suited to urban combat. It is similar to the TAR-21, although it is scaled-down and has different aesthetic features such as the handguard. It is currently phasing out the TAR-21 as the standard issued weapon of the Israeli infantry. A First-Person View of the MTAR. Reloading the MTAR-21. Country: United States Manufacturer: Juggernaut Tactical Cartridge: 7.62x51mm NATO Fire Rate: 700 rpm Fire Mode: Semi-Automatic Damage: High Range: High Recoil: Medium Magazine Size: 20 Rounds (Standard), 30 Rounds (Extended) The SMR is a semi-automatic, gas-operated, bullpup Battle Rifle. It is a modification to the M39 EMR, basically a bullpup conversion, shortening the overall length while retaining barrel length, range, and accuracy. The Chassis, called the "Rogue", is made by Juggernat Tactical, and is bascially a shell over a dismantled M14 rifle. The SMR, however, is a fully streamlined and functional rifle, and is not an M14 coversion. The SMR features a very long lonolithic upper rail as well as a rubberized cheeckrest. A First-Person View of the SMR. The SMR as it appears in Create-a-Class. Country: Germany Manufacturer: Heckler and Koch Cartridge: 5.56x45mm NATO Fire Rate: 850 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Medium Range: Medium-High Recoil: Medium Magazine Size: 30 Rounds (Standard), 45 Rounds (Extended) The M27 is a lightweight, magazine-fed infantry assault rifle based on the HK416 platform. The M27 is currently being sought by the US Marines, which is intended to enhance an automatic rifleman's maneuverability and displacement speed by lightening the weapon, making it easier to maneuver and manipulate. The M27 features a heavy barrel for sustained firing, and is designed to fill a niche role between assault rifle and light machine gun. A First-Person View of the M27. An M27 with an EOTech and a supressor. Submachine Guns: Country: Germany Manufacturer: Heckler and Koch Cartridge: 4.6x30mm Fire Rate: 950 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Low Range: Low Recoil: Low Magazine Size: 40 Rounds (Standard), 54 Rounds (Extended) The MP7 is a submachine gun chambered in a unique 4.6x30mm cartridge. It was designed and tested with the special cartridge to meet NATO’s requirements for a Personal Defense Weapon, or PDW. The round gives the MP7 better penetration through body armor as opposed to conventional pistol cartridges like the 9mm. In-game it features clear illuminated iron sights that are near identical to the Modern Warfare 3 model, and the addition of tan rail covers on the side. The grip with either be folded or used depending on if you select the "Grip" attachment. A First-Person view of the MP7. The MP7 with a supressor. Country: United States Manufacturer: KRISS Cartridge: .45 ACP Fire Rate: 1000 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Low Range: Low Recoil: Low Magazine Size: 36 Rounds (Standard), 48 Rounds (Extended) Otherwise known as the Vector or the Super-V, this is a submachine gun developed by Kriss. It uses an asymmetrical recoil and in-line design to reduce recoil and muzzle climb, making it an extremely fast-firing yet accurate SMG. This version is similar to the same as the Modern Warfare 2 version as it has a foldable stock, and a similar receiver, if not the same. It also has a black and tan finish, like the Modern Warfare 2 model. A First-Person View of the Vector K10. Reloading the Vector K10. Country: China Manufacturer: China South Industries Cartridge: 5.8x21mm Fire Rate: 900 rpm Fire Mode: 3-Round Burst Damage: Low Range: Low Recoil: Low-Medium Magazine Size: 40 Rounds (Standard), 54 Rounds (Extended) The Chicom CQB is a Chinese bullpup sub-machine gun. The weapon does not truly exist in real-life, but is based off of the JS9, which is a variant of the QCW-05 (Type 05) Chinese submachine gun. The Type 05 entered and won a competition held by the PLA for a compact submachine gun to replace the aging models. It resembles the Type-95 in its external appearance, but internally operates differently. The difference between the Type 05 and the JS9 is that the JS9 has a Picatinny Rail instead of a carrying handle. The Chicom QCB is based off the JS9 although might not use the 9mm cartridge. It features a rail-mounted Carrying Handle and iron sights as well as a flashlight, very similar to the FMG-9’s iron sights from Modern Warfare 3. It also has a charging handle on the side of the weapon, while the JS9 does not. A First-Person view of the Chicom CQB. A Chicom CQB with a Reflex Sight. Country: Belgium Manufacturer: FN Herstal Cartridge: 5.7x28mm Fire Rate: 900 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Low Range: Medium Recoil: Low Magazine Size: 50 Rounds (Standard), 66 Rounds (Extended) Not much is known about this weapon. It does not exist. By educated guessing, we can deduce that the “57” in the name refers to the caliber as the Five Seven pistol does this for the same caliber. It uses P90 magazines and features aesthetics similar to a PDW-C, with the stock taking a different design. More will be added as it is released. A First-Person View of the PDW-57. Reloading the PDW-57. Country: Czech Republic Manufacturer: CZ Cartridge: 9x19mm Parabellum Fire Rate: 1000 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Low Range: Low Recoil: Low Magazine Size: 32 Rounds (Standard), 43 Rounds (Extended) The Skorpion Evo III is the successor to the famous Skorpion vz.61. A Slovakian Company designed the “Laugo”, the prototype for the Skorpion Evo. When the design started to show promise, CZ bought the designs and started work on a submachine gun for the 21st century. The design flourishes into a submachine gun that outperformed its predecessor, in both handling and aesthetics. The gun in-game statistically resembles the old Skorpion and feels similar as well. A first-Person view of the Skorpion Evo III. Note this is not the default camo. The Skorpion EVO III with Grip. Country: India Manufacturer: Ordinance Factories Board Cartridge: 5.56x30mm MINSAS Fire Rate: 700 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Low-Medium Range: Low-Medium Recoil: Low-Medium Magazine Size: 30 Rounds (Standard), 40 Rounds (Extended) The MSMC, or Modern Sub Machine Carbine, is a grip-feeding Sub-machine gun chambered in a unique 5.56x30mm round. The MSMC was designed after the Indian army's need for a service carbine. A variant called Excalibur was developed, but was deemed unable to fulfill the requirements. The MSMC was designed to rectify the shortcomings of the previous developments. The MSMC bears resemblence to the Uzi SMG in both design and function, and even more so in the kill feed in Black Ops 2. It features a retractable stock and ergonomic handguard. A First-Person view of the MSMC. An MSMC with the MMS sight. Light Machine Guns: Country: United States / Belgium Manufacturer: FN Herstal Cartridge: 5.56x45mm NATO Fire Rate: 625 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Medium Range: Medium-High Recoil: Medium Magazine Size: 50 Rounds (Standard), 75 Rounds (Extended) The Heat Adaptive Modular Rifle, or HAMR, is an infantry assault rifle made for the US Marines to satisfy the requirements of the IAR competition. IT alongside the M27, allow riflemen to lay down suppresive fire while staying mobile. It features a bipod, a heavy barrel and a drum magazine. It is also interesting to note that in-game the weapon's fire rate will decrease the longer the trigger is held, increasing accuracy and encouraging suppresive fire. A First-Person view of the HAMR. Country: United States / Belgium Manufacturer: FN Herstal Cartridge: 7.62x51mm NATO Fire Rate: 735 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: High Range: High Recoil: High Magazine Size: 100 Rounds (Standard), 150 Rounds (Extended) The MK48 is the big brother of the MK46. The MK-48 is derived from the FN Minimi and has been used by USSOCOM forces. Mk 48 Mod 0 has a heat shield rail system and an integral folding bipod. The weapon is fitted with the same fixed stock as the M249 as well as a carrying handle. A First-Person view of the MK48. A front view of a soldier with an MK48. Country: United States / Germany Manufacturer: TBD Cartridge: 5.56x45mm (caseless) Fire Rate: 650 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Medium Range: Medium Recoil: Low-Medium Magazine Size: 100 Rounds (Standard), 150 Rounds (Extended) The LSAT (Light Small Arms Technologies) was a developmental light machine enrolled in the JSSAP. The program started when the Joint Service Small Arms Program (JSSAP) challenged the American Defense Industry to develop lighter small arms and ammunition. The LSAT provides a major reduction in weight over traditional LMGs, as well as improvements in other areas, such as controllability and reliability. The LSAT has the potential to improve battlefield effectiveness due to its simpler and more consistent weapon action, its light weight and low recoil, and its stiffer barrel. Its use of recoil compensation has produced positive feedback regarding controllability; the simpler mechanism of the LSAT is both more reliable and easier to maintain. It also uses a unique caseless ammunition, which reduces the weight even more. A First-Person view of the LSAT. Reloading the LSAT. Country: China Manufacturer: Norinco Cartridge: 5.8x42mm DBP87 Fire Rate: 900 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Medium Range: Medium-High Recoil: Medium Magazine Size: 75 Rounds (Standard), 112 Rounds (Extended) The QBB LSW AKA QBB-95 is a bullpup light support weapon based on the Type 25, and most of the parts from both rifles are interchangeable. This is the Squad automatic variant of the Type 25 in the "QB" family of rifles. The longer, heavier barrel and 75-round drum magazine of the QBB-95 allow sustained firing and aid in suppresing targets. A Firs-Person view of the QBB LSW. A QBB LSW as it appears in Create-a-Class. Shotguns: Country: United States Manufacturer: Kel-Tec Cartridge: Slug Rounds Fire Rate: 70 rpm Fire Mode: Pump Action Damage: High Range: Low Recoil: Medium Magazine Size: 14 Rounds (Standard), 21 Rounds (Extended) The KSG is a pump action shotgun with two tubes holding seven rounds each. The ammunition feeds from both tube magazines independently, located below the barrel on both sides. The operator can select a magazine by switching a three-position lever, located behind the pistol grip in the stock. The middle position blocks the both magazines and allows the user to chamber a single round manually. Switching the lever to one side brings the respective magazine into the feed cycle. Once one magazine is depleted, the user manually switches to the second magazine by pushing the magazine selection lever toward it. In-gam it uses slug ammunition, a shotgun round that fires only one projectile, like a conventional weapon, rewarding accuracy but limiting it's close range effectiveness. A Firs-Person view of the KSG. Sorry for the blood and blur. Country: United States Manufacturer: SRM Arms / Guster Arms Cartridge: 00 Buckshot, 12-Gauge Fire Rate: 950 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: High Range: Low Recoil: Low-medium Magazine Size: 16 Rounds (Standard), 24 Rounds (Extended) The M1216 is a fully automatic shotgun with 4 tubes holding 4 rounds each, for a total of 16 rounds. The rounds are held in a cylindrical magazine at the front of the weapon acting as a handguard. Every four rounds the tube must be turned to load the next four, and after the fourth, the magazine must be reloaded. Because it is an actual magazine, this gives the M1216 a great capacity and a quick reload time. A First-Person view of an M1216. Every four rounds, the magazine must be turned. There are 16 rounds total. Country: Russia Manufacturer: Izhmash Cartridge: 00 Buckshot, 12-Gauge Fire Rate: 600 rpm Fire Mode: Semi-Automatic Damage: High Range: Low Recoil: Medium Magazine Size: 10 Rounds (Standard), 15 Rounds (Extended) The Saiga-12 is a semi-automatic shotgun designed after the AK-47's design, as the receiver is almost identical. Like the Kalashnikov rifle variants, it is a rotating bolt, gas-operated gun that feeds from an 10-round box magazine. All Saiga-12 configurations are recognizable as Kalashnikov-pattern guns by the large lever-safety on the right side of the receiver and the large top-mounted dust cover held in place by the rear of the recoil spring assembly. The looser clearances offered in an AK style design result in high reliability which is an enormous concern for any semi-auto shotgun, as this class of weapon had previously tended towards unreliability. A First-Person view of the Saiga-12. Country: United States Manufacturer: Remington Arms Cartridge: 00 Buckshot, 12-Gauge Fire Rate: 65 rpm Fire Mode: Pump-Action Damage: High Range: Low Recoil: Low-medium Magazine Size: 8 Rounds (Standard), 12 Rounds (Extended) The Remington 870 MCS is a pump-action shotgun made by Remington. Sniper Rifles: Country: Belgium / Germany Manufacturer: FN Herstal / Unique Alpine Cartridge: .338 Lapua Fire Rate: 65 rpm Fire Mode: Bolt Action Damage: Very High Range: Very High Recoil: Low-Medium Magazine Size: 7 Rounds (Standard), 11 Rounds (Extended) The FNH Ballista is a fully modular bolt-action rifle designed for precise sniper fire at extreme ranges. A monolithic rail runs along the length of the receiver. The Ballista's trigger system is fully adjustable for single-stage or two-stage release between 2 and 5 pounds. The handguard under the rail system holds a compartment to a set of tools that include everything you need to take this gun apart and put it back together again. The barrel may be changed in less than two minutes and each barrel stays in line to the receiver. The stock is fully adjustable for length-of-pull, buttplate height, cheekrest height, and includes an integrated folding rear monopod. The detachable box magazine holds 7 rounds and is fitted with caliber-specific interior assemblies to ensure reliable feeding under all conditions. A First-Person view of the Ballista. Country: Germany Manufacturer: DSR Precision Cartridge: .50 BMG Fire Rate: 50 rpm Fire Mode: Bolt-Action Damage: Very High Range: Very High Recoil: High Magazine Size: 5 Rounds (Standard), 10 Rounds (Extended) The DSR-50 is a bullpup, bolt-action, anti-materiel rifle developed and manufactured by DSR Precision. It is essentially an upscaled DSR-1 chambered in .50 BMG. The bullpup design means the magazine is in the back, but another magazine is kept in the front for faster reloading. The rifle has a unique “blast compensator” that lowers the sound and recoil of the shots. It features a top mounted bipod, monopod, free-floating barrel, fully adjustable cheekrest, buttstock and handguard. A First-Person view of the DSR-50. Reloading the DSR-50. Country: Russia Manufacturer: C.D.R.B.S.H. Cartridge: 7.62x54mm R Fire Rate: 600 rpm Fire Mode: Semi-Automatic Damage: High Range: Very High Recoil: Medium-High Magazine Size: 10 Rounds (Standard), 15 Rounds (Extended) The SVU-AS is essentially a bullpup configuration for the Dragunov sniper rifle. Originally, the plan was to just slightly modernize the aging Dragunov, but they eventually realised that the configuration of the weapon would have to be completely altered, leading to the creation of the SVU. The SVU-AS features a special muzzle brake that absorbs up to 40% of the recoil energy and a rubber stock with cheekrest. Improvements over the Dragunov include replacement of butt stock, pistol grip, trigger and the mounting for the sight, and shortening the barrel by 100mm achieved perfect balance for the weapon. A First-Person view of the SVU-AS. Reloading the SVU-AS. Country: Unknown Manufacturer: Unknown Cartridge: .50 BMG Fire Rate: Unknown Fire Mode: Semi-Automatic Damage: Very High Range: Very High Recoil: High Magazine Size: 10 Rounds (Standard), 15 Rounds (Extended) Not much is known about this weapon. By educated gusseing, we can deduce that it is a .50 BMG sniper rifle, thus it's name. It is most likely and experimental rifle, since the "X" in "XM8" was used to signify its experimental nature. "P" might stand for precision, and "R" for rifle. So the Experimental Precision Rifle, .50 BMG, has yet to be seen in actual footage. More will be added as it is released. A First-Person view of the XPR-50. Pistols: Country: United States Manufacturer: KRISS Cartridge: .45 ACP Fire Rate: 600 rpm Fire Mode: Fully Automatic Damage: Low Range: Low Recoil: Low Magazine Size: 12 Rounds (Standard) / 18 Rounds (Extended) Also known as the KARD, this is a pistol developed by Kriss that uses the same recoil-controlling technology that is in the Vector. The KAP-40's barrel is fixed rather than tilted like most conventional pistols. A weight is located at the front of the gun is activated by the bolt when the gun fires. The weight, which tilts downwards during recoil, provides the same force as a slide on a regular pistol and sends the weight down, greatly reducing recoil. A First-Person view of the KAP-40 during a reload. Note that is actually has a tan upper receiver. Charging the KAP-40. Country: Belgium Manufacturer: FN Herstal Cartridge: 5.7x28mm Fire Rate: 900 rpm Fire Mode: Semi-Automatic Damage: Low Range: Low Recoil: Low Magazine Size: 20 Rounds (Standard) / 30 Rounds (Extended) The FN Five-Seven is a single-action, autoloading pistol that fires the low-recoil, high penetration 5.7x28mm cartridge.
